Temps Still Down

Her temps are 97.9 so she has not had a true rise to normal temperature. She kept me up all night and I mean all night so even if she has them during the day, I am trashed. Pups are NOT in position yet. No contractions yet.

A temperature of 101 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit (38.3 to 39.2 degrees Celsius) is typical and normal.

There is no concern unless she has contractions and pups are not coming. That is not the case. She is just staying in stage 1 a long time. I console myself with the fact that the longer they remain, the larger they grow.

Now I hope she at least waits till the afternoon as I have too much on my plate this morning.

Leti does not do anything by the book. It is what makes her interesting but at the moment I am frustrated as I think I am simply so very tired.

So stay tuned!

Miss Leti seems to enjoy keeping us waiting :-) But no doubt the pups will be worth waiting for. Will keep checking throughout the day.

We are so excited about puppies ))) They will come when the time is right for them and Leti))) Leti is such a special dog, looks like she has her own plan of action ))

I wonder if Leti is more sensitive to what's going on w/ her body and displays signs of labour earlier than most of the other Moms?

She's still young and w/ this being her 2nd litter (and more puppies) maybe she's feeling more discomfort.

She will surely be happy when she greets them all - - one by one! And like the rest of us Moms, all will be forgotten. :-)

I guess my browser decided it didn't like keep trying to refresh your page which I do. I will keep watching. Thanks for keeping us informed Darlah. When we are part of the Talemaker family it feels like every litter is our own. 😇

Come on Leti, don't let the pups get too big.

Darlah: did you get any sleep at all?

No sleep - Nathan is getting some - much more than me - story of my life.
