11 Days Old

I can't believe this crew is 11 days old. They are the next in line for eyes open. When you watch them they are trying to walk. It's so cute.

Here is the gallery.

I put a pillow in for them and they climb up and down. It is good to develop those muscles and they are.

The pups are still gaining really well. Leti dotes over them and adores them. I find her kissing them throughout the day.

What a good mama. The babies are growing super fast. Can't wait to see their beautiful faces with eyes open! Especially the chocolates - they usually have light brown or green eyes, right?

They are all born with blue eyes that change to dark brown, light brown, or green. You will not see the eye colour change till they are older. Our Truffie has brown eyes and he is a chocolate. Early on to confirm they are chocolates is the colour of their pads and nose. a true chocolate has brown spots on his pads and a brown nose. We may have havana browns too. But its not about the colour. You live with the personality!

Totally agree that it is about the personality rather than the colour. I just find genetics and colour patterns really interesting! Every puppy is beautiful anyway! :) Thank goodness we will take personality into account with choosing a puppy, since if it was up to sheer cuteness I would never be able to narrow it down to 3, much less 1! lol. It's really cool to watch their colours change over time, too. Every one is so unique.
