Puppy Visit

Someone that couldn't come on Saturday came to see the puppies today. Rarely do we make exceptions. It has to be for a good reason. There is value in being a part of the group but they will be with us for the next visit - what we call the 8 week visit. Mom couldn't sit on the floor as she had a hip replacement recently. We do not allow pups to be held in a chair or as you are walking as once upon a time we had someone insist. The puppy squirmed, fell and hurt itself. We learn. So, on the floor only. They can be squirmy. But I felt bad as everyone should have the experience. I will try to figure out a solution for the next visit.

Here is the gallery.

No one was nervous. Everyone played. Videos will be updated soon. I am biased but these are pretty spectacular pups.

You are going to love them this Saturday. Sunday I may take a nap. Yes, I am laughing. Usually have to be downright sick for that.

That happened to my puppy at a training session, everyone had to go round the room to see the other pups to socialise, the trainer held my pup while she was sitting in a chair. I had the only Havanese in the class, the trainer was besotted with my pup. The trainer didn’t have a good hold on my pup and she leapt out of the trainers arms. No broken bones but she did develop a click in her shoulder. I can’t forget it, I felt I had let my little one down. Evidently I chose the wrong type of puppy class.
