Day Before the Visit

Leti has been very attentive to her pups. She is amazing.

Here is the gallery.

Pups had fun outside. They are not sore from the shots or microchip. Bravo, little ones. You survived.

These are truly, truly sensational puppies. Thanks to my back being a bit better and drugs - well pain meds, I sat down on the deck and they jumped all over me, gave me kisses. They made it difficult to take photos and videos. I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Thank you, little ones. I hope you do the same to each and every person coming tomorrow - make them smile and laugh.

We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Then 2 weeks later, they go home. I will honestly miss them.

Before During Vet Visit

Pups played before the travel to the vets. We had a dry, quiet group for the entire time.

Friends of us were at the vets so they helped and sat in on the visit.

Here is the before the travel photos.

They got to hold, snuggle and play with them. It's wonderful to have the extra hands.

Here are the vet photos.

All are healthy, beautiful pups.

Leti is glad they are home. We are glad to be home too as I forgot the charts and we had to turn around halfway home to drive back to the vets to get them. That meant we had a over 2.15 hour drive home.

Pups were still great!

Be sure to check out the few videos before the travel.

Day Before Vets

The pups had their baths today the day before the vet visit.

Here is the gallery.

How did they do? Wonderful actually. they were not sure about the table height but the bath, the blowing dryers, strung up - well not really strung up but held up for photos - all did really well. I found some of the photos of the bath rather comical. A couple had 'the look' of what the hey but no shakes. No whimpering.

Tomorrow we head to the vets. I will take photos. Our regular guy is retired so his wife is doing the visit. Both are good. Hopefully she won't mind the photos. She used to do the puppy visits years ago but we sort of like Lex's sense of humor and we like to laugh so we would ask for him.

Here is the gallery of their play outside today.

Our vet ride is an hour and a half there and an hour and a half back. They will get a wellness check, a microchip and some car conditioning. Leti will stay home. We find microchip insertions are too stressful for the moms. I gave them a bath and did photos and Leti was fretful. So, we have been making sure she has a lot of Spirit time. She knows the process.

Leti is such a great mom.

It will be interesting to see their weights. Some have larger bone density. That is from Stone.

They are playing outside with Dennis as I type.

Be sure to watch the videos.

Rainy So Upstairs Play

It was wet and miserable when we woke up. So, upstairs play is it today.

Here is the gallery.

Tomorrow the puppies get their bath and Thursday they head off to the vets. Saturday we get to see everyone. We hope for no rain as it's not as fun as watching them outdoors.

Pups really enjoy this toy. They love it! It was a great new addition to our puppy play!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Cold But Fun

Yes, it is cold outside but it seemed to invigorate the puppies.

See the gallery.

The pups were playing on the bottom deck in these photos but Dennis just had them on both the decks.

I really watched the pups today and they were running under and behind the couch and chairs. They were using it as an advantage to come out and pounce on a sibling. they are truly fun to watch.

Busy Week Coming Up

Let's see what we have in store this week. On Wednesday we have baths. On Thursday we have the vets. On Saturday we have the 8 week visit.

See today's gallery.

How does time fly?

We are running and jumping quite well. We are a fun bunch. I am not seeing any huge changes in personality on this crew.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Posers

There are just some dogs - like humans that are more likely to pose for you. Chocolate gal is one of those. LOL

Here is today's gallery.

The pups don't seem to mind the cooler weather. I have slippers on, a jacket on and we do not have the heat on inside. I refuse. It is like giving into the reality that the cold is here to stay. Give me a few days.

We did put on the heat lamps on the puppy sleeping area to give them the option of sleeping close to the warmth or not. They are so far selecting not.

We are going to start partially softening the food as they all have teeth.

Their play is magical to watch. They make you laugh and laugh. Next Saturday is the 8 week visit. Next week is their vet visit.

Be sure to watch the videos.

Windy Day

We had a few branches and leaves  down due to the rain. Here one of the pups is trying to covet a cedar piece. It's mine - no, it's mine.

Pups were not afraid of the wind but we aren't either. They do feed off your reactions.

Here is today's gallery.

The pups all have teeth. They are running, jumping and climbing. They are fun.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Individual Shots As Promised

Here is the gallery.

This is the 1st born. She is a gal and the darker sable. She will look a lot like Spirit. She weighs 2lbs 9-7/8oz

This is the 2nd born. He is a tri though everyone calls him a back and white. He is a male who also has apricot markings. He weighs 2lb 14-1/2oz

This is the 3rd born. He is a sable and a male. He has a white chin. It is how you can easily tell him from his sister that looks like him. He weighs 2lb 13-1/8oz

This is the 4th born. She is a chocolate girl with apricot markings. She weighs 2lb 6-7/8oz

This is the 5th born. She is a sable girl with a black mask minus the white chin her brother has. She weighs 2lb 8-3/8oz

This is the 6th born. He is a chocolate sable. He weighs 2lb 11-1/8oz

As you can see they are clearly all different. But I was asked to put up shots so when you give us your choices you can say puppy born 1st is my first choice etc.

They all have teeth now. Their pigment is almost fully in now. They go to their vet appointment on the 27th. They have their next visit on the 29th. Starting on October 12th they will start to go home.

Girls will start coming into heat sometime this or next month. Three more weeks and the 1st pup goes home. Oh my.

Be sure to check out the videos. I am uploading as I type.

They also had their 2nd deworming today. We do it as a preventative. If we don't the vets will want you to. :-)

Crazy Times

As I type outside Nathan is bringing the pups out again. As we take them out a few times a day and play with them before bed, they seem to be sleeping well at night.

Here is the gallery.

Many have teeth but not all. I promise tomorrow I will get weights and individual photos. Sorry I fell down on the job today. I am so trying to enjoy this weather. Dennis keeps nagging me about lights and bringing plants in and I am so not ready and do I think the pups will care about cooler weather? NO! I am so glad we got them in the pool before chilly fall comes.

Leti is ever so attentive to her crew and she still hangs out with Spirit. It's nice. She will miss the pups but then again Spirit will get her back full time.

Be sure to check out today's videos.

I am having a tough time with the way I upload videos so expect better ones tomorrow. LOL
