Two and a Half Weeks Old

Isn't he adorable sleeping like that? These are ahhh moments for me. Look at that belly!

Did you know these pups were born on September 17th and Jeannies was born on August 17th. I doubt Pandas will be born on the 17th. :-)

As Jeannie is stopping her pups from eating I decided to let her feed some of Roxie's here and there. Roxie is fine with it. Why am I doing it when Roxie is doing just fine with them? If Panda has a large litter she may need help. This way we have 3 moms with milk. It will help. By feeding Roxie's Jeannie will still supply milk. Of course if we find out its not needed then we will let Jeannie make that transition. This way Jeannie gets all that extra food longer too. :-)

The pups are really trying to walk and at times they are doing a rather great job at it.

By Monday or Tuesday we will have them out of their pen as Panda will need the whelping box and the heat lamp.

There are so many changes for these pups coming up and this room coming up. Lots of work too.

Here are a few videos I hope you enjoy.

Rox Watching Pups

Roxie had a bath this afternoon. The kids had really had her looking grungy. No matter how much I combed her out she just looked - well messy.

Love to watch Roxie just watching her pups from a distance. She is such a good mom. The pups are looking nice and plump!
