It's a Puzzle

The gal was really curious and placed her head in this toy and away she ran. The boy was highly curious trying to figure out what this was about. At this age she didn't figure out how to remove it. Do not leave your pups alone with a toy like this, please.I use it for a minute to test problem solving but never more time than 30 seconds to a minute.

The pups have been weaned off of Mousse. They are simply eating Fromms softened now. They are truly a fun bunch. But with the pups going home they only got out 4 times today and not for the very long sessions we usually do but its not bedtime yet so they will get an adventure upstairs.

Someone asked us about toys on our kitchen table. They are there when we are doing kitchen play and then they get cleaned. We run our washer all day long it seems. I believe in a clean environment so the pups get used to such. If they were allowed to soil where they sleep they would be used to it and that makes training difficult beyond the fact that I find that rather disgusting. So, when I ask for blankets its due to the reality that we use them all. I can never have enough it seems. The goal is to keep the pen clean, dry and comfortable. As they get older more and more floor space is created and less sleeping area. Why do we do this? We need them to be used to walking on different textures. They need more running space as they get older and its easier to run in a smooth surface vs a bunch of blankets. But when they are the age of Panda's crew you surround them with blankets with different heights to help them to climb, to build their legs. Each stage has a goal in mind and you plan the environment accordingly.

Thanks Darlah, the reasons why are not always evident to folks that are not involved with breeding and young pups.
