Holiday Celebrations

Ella went on a road trip to the relatives to give her some exposure to a cattle dog and a poodle and she did great. Though she did show signs of stress by yawning at times. She went from person to person. Here she is with Nathan, our grand daughter Sarah, our daughter Tracy in back and grandpa Ernie (Nathan's dad) who is back doing chemo after the holidays. Danielle is also coming out of remission. joy not. Guess its time to pray a bit again and save my tip $$ for meds not covered. It is what it is.

Life is ever the same and ever changing.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your loved ones going through difficult health issues next month. ((Hugs)) too.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. It has certainly been a difficult year for your family. Did Danielle's surgery not solve the problem or did she not have surgery after all ? I remember you saying surgery did not guarantee a solution.

Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure that little Ella was a
happy distraction for everyone.

Maureen 2 days before she was getting prepped for surgery they did a scope where they send a camera down through her to look around. She went into remission. They do not know why but they cancelled surgery and now she is out of remission. She had a break for the first time in years. So now they wait and assess to see if surgery is wise or her body will react differently to the meds. It means the process starts all over again. Hard to function in school when you are spending all your time in the bathroom. Hard to even have friends in that situation. I am feeling bad for her. Then Nathan's dad has to start the chemo again. It was good to see him and spend time with him but its taking its toll. He was crying half the visit. Someone had to tell him to live in the moment (the son of his brother (nephew) that just died). It was a good holiday get together but sad too. Hard when people are struggling medically.

Thank you everyone. Ella actually did give a positive distraction. It was ever so nice to see them smiling over a puppy. Pups tend to do that, don't they!

I always like to see pictures of Nathan and his dad. He is looking good despite his health issues. Sorry to hear about Dani though. I truly hope that 2015 brings her some relief in some way. Positive thoughts from us, always.

Sounds like taking Ella was a wise decision ! Puppies do bring joy in otherwise difficult situations.

These ups and downs are sent to try us. Let's hope the New Year brings all good things your family's way! My heart is with you.
