Roxie, Resting, Cleaning
Roxie was amazing. Check out the gallery of resized but not edited photos. Sorry - some can be graphic but fascinating like the head shot of the boy with his front foot up against his head.
Roxie took us for a ride of no sleep. But when it came down to it no c-section and not even a noise or complaint even though that first one it was hard to get the shoulders out. The next one was easier as he is a tad smaller but both pups are of the larger size. That doesn't mean they will be as adults.
Roxie had a quick bath of her backend. A high velocity dryer blows the water out. They don't like it but I use it for moments like this where time is a factor. Actually this is the only time I use it and then I finish with the regular dryers. This way they are not crawling through discharge.
Roxie has had cheese, ice cream, a bowl of food but has not had a potty break. This is normal. She needs some rest but all she wants to do is clean and kiss them up. Then she takes short naps.
Nathan is sleeping. I am fried and won't sleep till tonight. I may have to get caffeine in me. hehe
We have Panda and Spice due in 4 days. You go Roxie for waiting so the pups were all around the same age. Yeah Valentine's Day would have been nice but the way you delivered - bravo!
The cream is truly a creamy gal with the same tan as Leti. She has a gorgeous head. Sylvia's right the tri boy is very similar in markings to Bella. He is beautiful. They both are...
Pups are already eating then sleeping and trying to stay warm. It's hot in this room but Roxie needs to stop moving to dote over them so they can truly get sleep and stay under the heat lamp.
I am hungry but can't leave them but looks like tomorrow I have to figure it out as I have baths to do and Nathan is at the show at least till early afternoon. We thought we were safe as pups were not due till the 20th and lo and behold Roxie surprises us.

A sentimental moment seeing the next generation taking over. Looks like Mother Nature has taken over as Roxie looks like a well seasoned Mommy. :-) She sure cleaned them up well and they are so very beautiful. Wonder what Miss Abs will think of them?
Just adorable!!! Way to go Roxie... Such beautiful pups! Great job all around
Even from Barbados, I cannot get away from the blogs, especially Roxie's! Beautiful pups. She is amazing! As Debi said, a new generation has started. Wow, incredible to follow those journeys! Thank you for sharing!
There is something so beautiful about a first-time mom lovingly cleaning up her pups for the first time.........Mother Nature at her best and it tears me up each time! Thank you so much for sharing!
