Nothing Yet

I think it was a false alarm. Although she had a temp drop, she was grunting, nesting and has been doing so off and on and not eating again I think we are close but not yet. All this rushing for nothing. Here I thought 2nd one faster. Nah... Should have waited till a head crested - silly me.

We did have a long night.

Usually I am not off. I am usually bang on but I announced this when she stopped eating, was making uncomfortable sounds and nesting which is usually stage 1 labor. She did rest last night. She is looking for food so maybe the vet saying to me no later than the weekend played with my head. So we are still on watch. Fun...

I see Roxie is passing time watching the tele. Smart of her to have the converter close by so she can channel surf until those babies decide to arrive. :-)

Roxie is such a beautiful girl, she just melts my heart big time. They all do really but you know how some of them have that special connection with you .........

She is DRIVING me crazy. Watch her make it to the 19th. So what was the nesting and the temp drop about? Next time I say something when the pups are coming out and not before. You do know she watches tv.

Waiting and watching from a distance. We can't fool Mother Nature. Good luck!

Roxie seems to know how to chill out and wait. She is probably sorry for all the panic she set in motion the yesterday.

She's keeping me on my toes. Been going and going just in case and there is no just in case. :-)
