Complications

We hope Roxie has pups today or tomorrow. Seems at the very least Nathan has a funeral to attend. Early this morning Stevie passed away. I would like to go too but we shall see. We had also hoped Stevie was able to see the pups like we planned. He was so excited but not meant to be.

Always juggling and with Roxie its an unknown variable. Pups come - no issues please.

Here the cutie is watching Jeannie's pups and Jeannie doesn't mind her giving kisses through the xpen. It says a lot about their relationship.

We listened to heartbeats this morning. It was fun!

Soon Roxie can give kisses to her own little pups. She will be a busy mom with
more puppies this time.

Is Stevie Nathan's friend that went on the fishing trip and was suffering with cancer?

My condolences. It always sad to hear of someone passing when they are so young.

Yes, Stevie is the same guy. We were both friends with him and the wife. Feeling really bad for the wife as she is going to be lost without him. We will have her over to see the pups. He did ask Nathan to make sure that happened. She loves the dogs and as I am sure you know when things calm down she will need the distraction. Hard...

So sad to hear ! I'm sure Nathan is glad that he took the time to go on the fishing trip - such a short time ago, amazing to think Stevie was well enough to go.

The look on Roxie's face is like - when do I get to kiss MY puppies ?? Hopefully soon and with no drama.

Maureen he wasn't well enough. He was living on pain meds. Just didn't think it was so soon. We were told months - it was weeks. Watch Roxie will have the pups Friday morning and I can't attend the funeral. Nathan is a pallbearer it seems. Think I am shell shocked. Nathan was teary when he got the call to be a pallbearer. Got to concentrate on the dogs and pups.

My thoughts are with you and your family. This type of loss is difficult for all.
I am sure after a couple of weeks Stevie's wife could use the distraction of a puppy visit.
