Hugo Update
Hi Nathan and Darlah,
Happy new year! I hope everybody had a great holiday.
Hugo is doing very well. He enjoyed being a social butterfly at many parties and met many many people. He is also getting much better with separation training. I can go upstairs to take shower for 30 minutes and he will be quiet waiting in his xpen downstairs.
He also enjoys being brushed/cleaned in the evening while relaxing. He is okay with having his nail clipped and teeth brushed, but he won't fight anymore. I'm taking him to vet on Monday for his 3rd shots.

Hugo is adorable. Very nice colours.
Hugo is sooo cute! I love his colouring as well.
One can tell he's a well adjusted little guy by his perky posture.
Hugo's family are doing so well w/ his daily well-keeping routine. Laci still does not like being groomed, but I suppose we all have our likes/dislikes. Great to hear you use the xpen as Laci loves hers so much we brought it to Florida w/ us. We can leave her alone knowing she feels secure/safe. Win/win all around!
All the best to you w/ your sweet little guy! :-)
Hugo is adorable and what a good boy he is. He is a winner for sure. Though, aren't they all? :-)
Hugo looks so huggable. I love his face.
Hugo is so adorable, so fun to see him grow!
What a handsome little guy! Teddy sends his best wishes to his bro Hugo. He too has had his latest shots and my dad reports he has taken very well to going for his first walkies. He also continues to adore his adoptive big brother Corky, who is being awfully good with him, considering Corky's tail tip often finds its way being gently pulled into Teddy's mouth.
What a new world for these pups.
Susan: Sounds like things are going really well. Glad the walks are going well. Corky sounds like a patient soul!
Darlah, they are hilarious to watch. Teddy belly crawls up to Corky, tries to pick up his paws and walk off with them, and sometimes holds one of Corky's paws between two of his - all the better to keep it still so he can grab it. Corky makes lots of little growls and snarls but doesn't bother moving, so I guess he doesn't really mind!
Susan: Sounds like those are play growls and snarls. Sounds like a grand relationship is developing. Now that's special. It is nice when we expect toleration and get so much more. I bet you it makes each of their lives richer and the humans watching it!
