Meet Mom the Roxie

For those that do not remember Roxie had a drive by? What do you mean? Kat never connected but got close enough to her to allow some swimmers to get there and she ended up with just 2. We were hoping she wasn't pregnant but she had a beautiful duo and showed us what type of mom she was.

No drive by. No connection but we just did a smear and it seems she is still early. Looks like we are going to have a solid week between the pups. It is what it is.

We try tomorrow...

PS: the local vet who really doesn't know our dogs went oh my that one looks like Adele. Well, they have the same mom. :-)

Best wishes to Roxie. Hopefully she will have a bunch of puppies this time.

I am sure she will. That drive by was interesting. Seems its pretty norm to only have a couple when you don't actually connect or have multiple breedings. :-) I figure 5 or 6 for Roxie.

Is Envy able to control himself waiting for Roxie to get "into the mood" ?
Poor boy....

They connected - a long tie. It wasn't easy as he is large. Talk about being technical. Despite her having pups previously it wasn't comfie. She didn't mind after the initial connection. That's all I will say. Hoping tomorrow is easier.

I'm confused! Is this the only previous time that Roxie gave birth? Am I wrong that Roxie is Ella's mom? I wish there was a flow chart showing the family lines, lol! Roxie and Envy sound like they'll have personable, confident puppies, from what I've read here, super excited! :-)

Roxie had a driveby - unexpected - not planned - didn't connect litter (refused to connect) but obviously produced 2 pups. Then she had the litter that contained Ella. That litter was born 17-Sep-2014 - almost a year ago. She had pups of all colour. We are expecting a great litter but Adele will also have a similar litter, I imagine. Both Adele and Roxie are half sisters. You will see a lot of similarities, I am sure. Out of the litters planned, all are going to be mighty exciting but why do them if they won't be.

It's all very exciting.
That's a beautiful picture of Roxie. When were those two born and what are their names? Have we met them through your blog/pictures?

Roxie is Rusty's mom and she is a great mother. She had a beautiful
Litter and I am sure this will be amazing. Rusty is so lovable and sweet. Ella is his sister and she can't be beat. We love her. I am so looking forward to Roxie's litter. Makes me want another pup. Kat is Rusty's dad.

These two were born Feb 16, 2014. One is Katie who is a blonde gal and the other is Odin who turned out to be silver and white. Her next litter was all colours. Anything is possible with Envy but it shouldn't be about colour - honest. I suspect that Adele will also have a variety of colours too looking at her line and Newton's line.

Ronnie, it was a great litter. Roxie has wonderful pups. I imagine she will have the same again. With Adele closely related, I expect the same. Newton is such a even keel wonderful boy who is winning huge in the ring on Tracy who is a owner handler. When you see its on an owner/handler then you know the dog is nice!
