I Don't Think So

This is how they say, no, I don't think so. Hey, what are you doing? Moms are the only ones that usually do this.

Tomorrow we do our first deworming. It changes our bowels at first so cleanup is - well messy. We do moms at the same time. We do this so you do not have to do it. Not all pups need it. We have never had worms but we also protect against giardia which is easily picked up from rabbits etc. Dosing 18 pups - oh my and we do this 3 to 4 times. If they are playing out in the yard knowing that we have visiting rabbits, we do an extra dose.

Here's a video of them playing outside and their 1st time upstairs.

Roxie always seems to be smiling when she is around the pups. She is such a great mom.

Great photo - can't believe you were able to capture the moment. It seems to really demonstrate how important the socialization is among the puppies, as well as with the moms, the older dogs, and of course with the humans.

This is a common thing with a mom to their pup. When they do not listen they shut their muzzle and when a mom does it they look like they are swallowing the head. First time I saw it I was taken aback but its only for less than a minute and it is effective. Moms are gentle and this pup was gentle. It was not a bully reaction. It's moms that usually use this method. It's the first time I saw a pup do it but we also have had pups cleaning each other and that's a mom thing too. This crew is really fascinating.
