13 Days Old: Eyes Opening

Here are the photos in the order they opened up today. They are immediately trying to walk and doing a half decent job at it too.  See the gallery today.  It's amazing how ready they are to get up and start moving. I have to laugh.

Roxie had a bath today. I did a lot of juggling between feedings.

They are now getting frantic when eating. You can see it in the help video.

Are you getting one of Roxie's pup, Christine?

Don't yet know which pup from which litter, but definitely taking one of the 18 home! It's been the plan all along, just had to put off the second one the last few litters as timing wasn't working.

These pups have always been cute but eyes open and tongue out...beyond

When the puppies open their eyes and start motoring around, they are so amazing. The picture of the puppy with the tongue out is so cute. Darlah, you mentioned that they are frantic when they feed - I see this with Spice's litter too - is this because they are growing so quickly? I suspect when they start moving around, this also makes them hungrier too. I still marvel at how the moms, especially Spice and Roxie with their larger litters, just seem so relaxed when feeding their babies.

Christine and Clarity: I am so happy for you and will be watching to see which little baby you will be adding to your home. As you know, I have one of Jeannie's pups plus one of Roxie's pups, each is different in many ways and in many ways the same. Whichever pup you get, as long as it is a Talemaker pup, you can't go wrong. All the best.
