Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. Rain date is the next day. Look forward to seeing your havanese there and the humans too! Don't have your havanese yet? Well join us anyway!

Puppies Are Coming: Surprise!

First Boy BornFirst is a boy born at 2am. He weighs 5-1/2oz 156g. He is red sable. Clicking on each photo will get you a full size photo.

Second Boy BornSecond is a boy born at 234am. He is brown, cream and black. He weighs 5oz 142g

Third Boy BornThird is a boy. He is a red sable. He came out with a voice. He is 6-1/2oz 183g. He was born at 248am.

4th Boy BornIt's boys week as the 4th is also a boy! He is 4 white feet and is brown. He was born at 351am. He weighs 5-3/4oz 164g

5th Boy BornFifth and last one was born at 429am. He is a brownish red and tan boy. Nathan is off to the tv room to sleep and I am up. Yes, all boys. He weighs 6-3/4oz 192g

The 5 BoysHere are the 5 boys!! All are eating immediately and she has milk. Roxie is so excited! She's eaten and she is now cleaning them. I hope she takes a nap.

Yes, Roxie was the only one who got pregnant. We missed the windows on the others but they will be bred approx July/August and we will be doing progesterone so we do not miss the window.

WOW! You snuck this in. Looks like no one (well, I'm sure there were a few) saw this coming! And here I thought you'd have no problem finding a day to go to Lost Horizons in the next week or so. ... silly me.

Beautiful pups. All boys, oh boy! Darlah, you will not believe this but I was awake at 5 am this morning thinking about all kinds of stuff, then I started thinking about Talemaker litters. I sort of knew that you were trying to breed some back at end of February but figured nothing came out of it. I nonetheless did the count in my head that if someone was bred early-mid March, you would have a litter any time now. Then I woke up to this. Too funny...for me anyway! Well done Roxie!

Beautiful pictures! Beautiful Mama Roxie. I had no idea and now I'm excited to watch these boys grow up! Guess who woke up at 2:17 just because! Yes, Mr.Marco! No rhyme or reason..just wanted to play a little...guess he knew something very exciting was happening at Talemaker!

Congratulations to all. Roxie you are a beautiful mom and your 5 boys are also beautiful.
Roxie may get some swimming in this summer, maybe even some swimming pups.

I can't believe it. I am so excited! I too was thinking that we hadn't heard about a new litter and poof it appeared. Roxie I am so proud and more family for Rusty. What a gorgeous pack of boys. Besutiful colouring. When you said that you only had two hours sleep I knew it had to be puppies. yeah! Mabel Tov!
