Another Update: Gains Added
Ruth was kind enough to bring some items for the pups and for rescue today. Here you will see sherpa pads that are really perfect that she gave us. It helps the pups with their traction. We also put a few toys in from her for colour. Thank you again! Hope I didn't appear too tired.

Sherpa Heaven
Dennis will be doing night duty tonight. I am a tad trashed. Need to eat a decent meal and sleep. I may send Nathan out for Schwarma tomorrow. I think I deserve it. Hahaha Plus moms love it.
Pups are all doing well. I will post later tonight if they gained when I do tonight's weigh-in. They are active.
Due to size they are sleeping between feedings. Adele is very lucky.
Dennis thought Adele had any milk but pups are gaining and her milk is in. As demand grows so does milk supply. Right now she is eating about 6 times a day. She thinks she is starving. She also has ice cubes in her water as she appreciates cold water. heh
Notice in the videos sometimes you see their tails wagging to some degree or standing up. This means they are tanking up with momma's milk. They want for nothing from Adele. She remains amazing!
It's not 24 hours yet but I am not staying up till after 11 to take temps. So this is 22 hours or less.
Sable boy - gained 1/2 oz - 22 hours old
Sable Gal - gained 7/8oz - 21.5 hours old
Black - very dark brown sable gal gained 1/2 oz - 20.5 hours old
Black/White gal gained 3/4 oz - 19.5 hours old
Brown Sable Boy gained gained 3/4 oz - 19 hours old
As you can see gain across the board and they are not 24 hours yet. It is norm for them to lose weight the 1st 24 hours as we wait for sufficient mom's milk to come in.

Such terrific news all around.
Love the Sherpa pads that Ruth brought for Adele and the babies. so comfy.
Adele is such a great new mom. It must be a Talemaker thing.
Congratulation to Adele, Newton, Darlah and Nathan. The pups are gorgeous, Adele should be proud of her beauties. Our best thoughts for you all. We will be following along daily.
Congratulations to all! The pups are GORGEOUS!
Those videos are priceless. Adele is such a good new mom. It just melts my heart to watch her and her pups.
Did Adele look like any of her pups when she was first born? Will be fun to watch the sables coats. From what I've seen, these can change dramatically throughout their lifetime, especially when they blow their coats ... And then again, not always.
She looked like the girl and boy sable. See http://www.talemakerhavanese.com/talemaker-rollin-in-the-deep/2015/7/15/photos-of-adele.html
Sables go light and dark throughout their lives. Adele gets deeper apricot then pale then dark.
It sounds like these little pups are hungry. Adele is so patient with them. It appears to be instinctive with her to do the right thing. Beautiful to watch. I hope you guys can get enough rest.
Usual hunger of healthy pups. They are of size so they nap inbetween giving mom a break.
