Oliver's New Family

Click on Photo for Larger ViewOliver departed. He is just now beginning his forever journey. You can follow his journey on their instagram. What's the url? He will be taking a class with his sibling. That will be so much fun. We also need to sign up for classes so if anyone is interested, let us know.

Going to miss this little one. His siblings and pals are deeply snoozing. Around 2 we will be heading outdoors and adding some video and photos to another entry.

Give Oliver a hug from us.

Congratulations! It definitely is a wonderful addition to the household. Even if the cuddling makes you late for work.(haha) I can't leave for work without my cuddles with Rusty. I love it and I am sure you will too. Enjoy!!

Thanks so much for the well wishes everyone! We are hanging out in a bedroom right now and Oliver is snoozing on the bed in between Holly and I. Our instagram is:

You can stay updated on Oliver and how his older siblings, Alice & Finnegan, like him. So far Alice and Finnegan aren't sure what they think of him, although they are also up on the big bed with us! And Oliver and Finnegan touched noses. We gave Finnegan some treats to lure him over to Oliver, and he basically ignored Oliver in trying to get the treats, haha! Oliver got some treats, too! Oliver is a total cutie. He's completely knackered from today's adventures. We are going to take him on a short walk through the building to meet some neighbours shortly, and then I'm sure he'll crash out the rest of the night, haha!

buddies at his new home.

Congrats to you both on your new little addition and how great he has older siblings who will adjust! Are Akice and Fiinnegan dogs or cats? You may have mentioned that but sorry did not notice.

Enjoy as these Talemaker pups are the easiest to train as have so much conditioning and so loving.

We look forward to seeing updates,

Congrats ladies! He's adorable:))
I'll see you at puppy pre-school with Oliver's brother, Charlie:)

Shelley:

They have 2 cats. :-)

December 9, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Shelley, Alice & Finnegan are cats. They are Siberian Lynx Points, and they are supposed to do well with other animals, including dogs!

Yay, Julia! We will look forward to seeing you and Charlie there. Which one is yours? And Charlie is an adorable name, too ; )

Monica: Give it time. I am sure he is more interested in playing with them than they are with him but time.... I am sure he is missing his pack mates. Give it 24-48 hours and he will realize he is on his forever journey.

Julia has the tan sable boy - the almost twin to the tan sable gal. We are keeping the gal and will be calling her River. We are also hanging on to a boy in Roxie's litter and I want to call him Stone. River - Stone. Nathan thinks I am nuts.

December 9, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Darlah I am so happy you are keeping one from each litter. We will be able to follow their growth. So which one is Stone. All the 9 puppies are amazingly beautiful and spunky and a Talemaker pup so all the forever families will be keeping a prize. I love the names.

Monica keep us posted on the developing relationships. Congratulations again!

December 9, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterRonnie

Stone looks almost like Angela's Radar but larger. Isn't it funny in Adele's you have 2 that almost look alike and in Roxie's you have 2 that almost look alike. It will be interesting when they mature. For us it is about the standard so we shall see how they turn out. Sometimes they do and that makes it extra hard.

Congratulations to Holly and Monica. Oliver is a beautiful pup. All the best to you all. It is a fabulous journey!

Hi, Monica and Holly ... Congratulations on the new addition to your family! Oliver is absolutely beautiful ... Also love the name (as it was another one I had picked out, yet again, snapped up by another Talemaker puppy). Well it suits the little guy, and Clarity and I are so very happy for you all.

Darlah, I LOVE River and Stone! In fact, when I was a teenager, I loved the actor River Phoenix (who sadly died of a drug overdose) , and thought about naming the puppy River or Phoenix, but my sons and husband reacted the same way as Nathan, LOL.

December 9, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterJulia

Darlah, I too love River and Stone, great names. Do you think Radar and Stone will have tipping? I am going to do my very best not to clip him if I can manage it.

December 10, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterAngela and Patches

Yes they will have tipping and areas that will remain dark.

December 10, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Adele is named after an Adele song Rollin' in the Deep so to keep with the theme the gal will be named Talemaker's River Lea. Now if she sticks around and she has pups the theme will continue.

As a gardener, I LOVE Riverstone. Wish I could have a garden full of it with Japanese stones strewn inbetween.

I think it would be fun to yell River - Stone

Roxie's name is Talemaker's on the Rox so stone seems appropriate to me.

December 10, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Want to name the boy Talemaker's Smoothest Stone

December 10, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Darlah, as a fellow gardener although not on as large a scale as you, I love Riverstone too. We have a hill on one side of our backyard that is edged on one side with tall cedars and on the other side by stairs. I have tried and tried to grow things on that hill with no success, no sun and dogs run up and down the hill. I also have erosion when it rains. I am thinking of putting riverstone all over the hill. Do you think the dogs would hurt themselves on it?

December 10, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterAngela and Patches

Sorry, meant to add that I love the meanings in the names River and Stone, how wonderful.

December 10, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterAngela and Patches

Love the names River and Stone, as so much like Breeze and Chinook which some people look at us like ok that is weird and others think they are great names and as long as we like the names and our dogs are good with them.,,haha as that is their names. I like that you can call your pets different names that you want than your human children that you don't want to grow up with weird names as the dogs just love you and will not be teased or bullied🐶🐶

Darlah love the a names for sure😃
