4 Weeks 1 Day Old

How are they eating? They are eating amazingly well. I am starting to see their output become solid. They are adjusting to the food and the deworming. Hooray. I had lots of cleaning after last night.

Here is today's gallery.

I find that they go after the food on their own and they are sleeping about 5 hours. I have to keep checking - are you okay? Solid food fills them up longer unless it doesn't agree with their digestion. If that happens it gives you the idea to take the introduction of food slow. I am leaving a small amount of food out and if the moms are not stealing it they are eating the bowl dry. The xpen is now closed to moms without my supervision.

We shall see how weight gains go tomorrow. Todays was good.

Today we had the pups in the kitchen for the 1st time. See the Jeannie blog to see the gallery and the video. I am impressed with them. They will now have daily visits to the kitchen and we will expose them to different rooms. It's too cold to get them outside yet.

Here are the videos:

Adele sneaks food like I do. Eat a little...looking around...eat some more. LOL!

Shannon: She knows she is not supposed to. Sneaky thing, eh? Have to laugh!

Hilarious! And stepping into the crate to eat too. Trigger does that if you give him a treat - he likes to eat those inside the fish beds - although not to be sneaky, but to protect the treats from Levon. Lol.
