7 and a Half Weeks Old

The crew sure loves to play. When you have 4 other siblings to play with you always can manage to have a ton of fun.

Pups really play like crazy. I have to weigh them to see how much they weigh or maybe we will get surprised at the vet visit. I can't believe the vet visit is in 3 days. wow Then the human visits in 4 days from now. 

It's a crazy busy week. Their personalities are really coming out. I will be excited to hear what you think between the 6 week and 8 week visit. i see so many changes.

7 Weeks 3 Days Old

In 4 days this crew will be at the vets getting their check up and in 3 days I am going to do a quick bath - no photos. Sorry but there are times you have to say - I can't. We will have photos at the vet. I will have photos after the bath - but not all the usual. I have a full day of grooming other than pups so forgive me.

This will be their 2nd bath and they will get another the day before they depart.

Oh the Fun of It

Oh ouch you have my lip, sister. They are certainly trying things out with each other. They are very agile now. I have to laugh. You are going to see different pups next weekend.

They were even able to drag the mat today that has a heavy water bowl on it. As you can see in the photo MS Sable and white thought it would be fun to chew on her brother and he is such a love that he is tolerant. 

This is the age - what can I get away with. 

I call it the mischievous stage. It all sorts itself out as they try to see what they can and can't do. This is the learn the boundaries stage. Some learn it faster than others.

7 Weeks 1 Day Old

They had a really full day but didn't get that many videos of them today. The before holiday grooming schedule is crazy. Tomorrow wil be the same - sorry.

Today they played downstairs in the hall. They started tearing their pad so we started using Benefect to stop that game. As I type they are upstairs with Dennis playing their fool heads off.

Mommy Adele is only feeding them in the morning at at night now.

7 Weeks Old

Next week, at this time the pups will be just finishing up their vet visit. A week from tomorrow they will have their 8 week visit 2 days before Christmas. They will be 8 weeks at that visit. Jeannies will just turn 7 weeks and Leti's will be 2 weeks and 5 days old. Let's will just be starting their journey of large milestones for puppies.

It is so interesting to see how they are born till they go home. It is how I would want my experience but no one is crazy like me doing these daily updates and tons of videos and galleries. But as I would love the experience, I want you to have the same. 

Pups just came downstairs after a huge play session and now they are sleeping and tuckered out. They will have another at bedtime before going to sleep. The time that they sleep at night is getting longer and longer till they sleep till a solid 7am. That is the plan. We can't do later than 7am as they hear us get up and that defeats any sleeping later for anyone. They seem to be right on track.

Hallway Playing

The pups had a blast when Christine was here to pick up Clarity and Farley. They jump and play and do all sorts of fun things and by the time they have their vet check up and visit they will be so much fun.

I can't believe the next human owners to be visit is 9 days away. It's going to be fun!

6.5 Week Visit

We had a visit with one of the puppy people who could not come to last weekends visit. We rarely make exceptions (its honestly way too hard to do so) but this one was necessary. They will be joining us on the 23rd. The other couple that joined us was visiting for a future pup.

Dani, Sarah and Tracy came over to pick up River and to play with the Adele pups and boy did they have fun.

Short Blog Today

Thought I could fight this tummy ache but its worst so this blog will be short. I am still uploading videos. This crew had a blast upstairs. Nathan did that chase game with them. Some participated, some not.
