This is first born. He LOVES to eat. He also had solid bone density. He's a lover. I can't believe that soon they will be 5 weeks old.

Mommy keeps stealing their food. One would think I don't feed her enough but gad she eats a ton and still wants their food.

Tomorrow without fail the pups are coming out. Even if the Jeannie pups are not up to it, they will simply have the exposure. This crew most likely will be more ready for it. When they are a bit older the age blurs. You can really see the difference at this age including size differences.
I had to rearrange where the food is as they want to be close to the door and they kept walking through it. So, blankets now in front of the gate and food in the back of the pen. It appears to be working.

I am hoping tomorrow to get them out in the kitchen to play. Life has been so crazy busy. Pups are eating well. Playing up a storm and having a great time but I must hide their food from Adele or in one quick swoop its gone.

Sorry but the blogs are short today. Family departed today so last minute connections and time invested in family took precedent to clicking.
The pusp are eating food well. If I can only get Adele to stop stealing their food. So during the day I have to close the pen and allow them to eat and then pick up the dish so mom can't eat it all. aSounds sillym doesn't it? But she persists despite eating food all day long.

Pups are doing well with eating. No bowel issues and our only complaint is Adele wants to steal their food. Eating food means more output equals more cleaning. As they get used to the food they will go after feeding. Now their body goes more than the usual till they make the leap from mothers milk exclusively to both.
Next week we will start taking them out and including the Jeannie pups even though at this point there is a difference in their development. It will all come together.

Yes, the Adele Crew ate solid food for the first time and yum they loved it and made a mess. We will watch how their bowels are and continue to add food to their diet. Some enjoyed it more than the others. First born went oh boy!!

Pups are getting good in their play and they have really perfected their walking while Jeannie's has just begin the journey. One more week and they should be playing catch-up and we are going to try them together then. We also tried Jeannie's gals on food but you will have to read their blog to see how they did.
After the family is gone we are going to start taking the pups out to get exposed to other rooms. Leti's pups will be on their own timetable and won't be able to play catch-up, of course.
This crew is active, playing and I need to introduce some fun toys. These 2 crews are going to be so fun, indeed!

Yes, we are 4 weeks old and we decided that Monday will be teh day we start introducing food. You see, its just too crazy to be doing extra laundry. Eating is messy when they start. I will be cleaning bodies off and blankets and whatever else. Monday afternoon the family heads back to Las Vegas and we will have a bit more time.
Not sure how anyone can do this with 2 little ones - 1 in diapers, 1 out but just a tad older. We feel super human. hahahaha
pups are indeed fun and interactive. Hoping Monday we get them out into the kitchen as well.

Check out the gallery. They sleep and then they eat and play and play then they start the process over. They are delightful, at this age.
The pups are so fun to play with. Blogs are short due to visitors. Hope you understand.
They are using the pad quite a bit and truly learning by playing. laying in the pen with them is a joy!

This stage is delicious. They are just now full out playing. Realize Jeannies will be that way in a week. That's when we will try them out together here and there. We look forward to trying them out on food. First stage is redoing this room yet again.
You will see in the videos that we have fun with them. Come after the family goes home we will try them out for play sessions. We can't have outdoor fun as it will be too cool but we will carry them around outside and take them out for short stints till they are older. When they are older we hope to experience first snow falls with them and all the fun that brings.
Uploading videos today has been extremely slow - worse than even the last couple of days. So, just keep looking and I will get videos up as it allows. Check them out here. If it was like this always I would not be uploading many videos or galleries - sigh as it is a frustrating experience but Rogers cable promises to fix it.
Pups bat their paws at you, try to engage you in play, kiss you and I do believe they are teething. None have poked through but they are biting on everything. I truly love this stage.

Pups are starting to truly play now. They make all sorts of noises and if I ever get these videos up you will see them playing with Nathan and their tails wagging.
I just love this stage and can't wait till Jeannie's gals do the same.
