Indoor and Outdoor

It started sprinkling so we started with indoor play this morning. Then it remained cloudy but it was warm enough to wear just a t-shirt without a sweater. What a wonderful fall we are having when there is no rain.

Pups then went outside and played their hearts out with Leo (Emmy's pup), Murphy, Trouble and Cinnamon. Did I miss anyone? Here is the video. They are such great pups. Remember Leo is 4 weeks older than this crew. Sure there is still a size difference but not as much as just before Emmy's crew departed.

Here is today's gallery. You will see pups pouncing on the older pups and having a great time.

I can not believe the first one heads out on Sunday and we may have 2 remaining here as one family had a timing issue with a new job. So looks like the black and white gal will be hanging out for a bit longer.

Here are the videos:

Great video. The Safi, the pups and the young dogs all had a ball.

Saffron does seem to enjoy her black and white baby.

I love the black and white pup. She is so loving and so smart. I had a chance to cuddle with her the other day and I almost took her home with us. (haha). Whomever adopts her will be so very lucky.

I love her too. She reminds me so much of Levon - both the face and the personality.

Oh Ronnie, you are so lucky. I love all those puppies wouldn't it be lovely to take them home forever.

Yes, Saf does enjoy the black and white. She's smart, agile but not demanding. None of them are demanding. They seem to be pretty good at entertaining themselves where usually by 9 weeks they are yelling let me go out. They seem happy wherever they are. Oh it is time to go out, exciting. Oh its time to go back - exciting. They are really good pups. I do believe the black and white is the most agile and seems to be ahead of the curve in all ways. She is also the most loving pup truly. She is Nathan's fave. If she stays and we assess at 6 months to see who gets into size for the show, then so be it. Did I say that? :-)

Dennis said these are the best pups. What did we do to get them there?

They have been the easiest pups. Saffron was also pretty amazing herself never having a bowel issue and having a non nonsense way of taking care of her babies but a truly loving nature. She paced herself giving herself breaks and making sure the pups slept. Maybe that is the key - Saffron. You realize someone told me off cause Safi was not in the pen 24/7. I think her relaxed nature was wonderful.

Plus when she said its time to wean she got that point across to her pups quite quickly. They believed her without her getting crazy about it.

Each litter you learn from the moms. I truly have some amazing moms. They truly enjoy the time and its not just the decadent food or the massages but its all of it and they deserve it - truly!

How serendipitous when consider you never intended her to have a litter in the first place, and may not have bred her to Stone even if you had intended to breed her and then you get such a wonderful mom and wonderful litter . Must have been meant to be !!

Life is interesting and sometimes some things are meant to be. I think this was one of them.
