Class 4

I watch Tenshi in class and she has the spirit of her great grandmother. She always manages to bring fun!

All the siblings are doing really well. Thyme wasn't doing down so Nathan was being creative. His task is to get her to do down this week without his leg. heh

Here is the gallery.

I also uploaded 2 videos from the class unedited. Not up to watching and cutting out walked in front of camera moments.

Part 1

Part 2

This is the full video of Amy and the Ipad

Enjoyed watch both videos. The puppies all learn at their own pace, but they will learn. I found the classes teach the 'handlers' a lot and it helps with the next class.

I hope that the I-pad had a tough protector on it. She was trying to respond to the voices that she heard. Amy is a real cracker jack, full of energy.

Ah, Nathan, I don't recall that move with the leg being one of the moved they taught us in puppy school 🤔

Actually they taught that for difficult dogs. Kat was the start of refusing to go down. It actually works. He just has to make the leap to getting her to do it and practicing with her.

Kathy:

True. Nathan and I talked about that last night. The handlers and the dogs become confident as time goes on. The bonding grows. It all works.

Thanks for uploading all the videos! Amy is so funny with her iPad. It's amazing to see Thyme so focused on Nathan. So for a show dog, Thyme doesn't do the "sit" but it's ok for the "down"?
Darlah, I like how you describe Tenshi (that she is a character!) I just call her crazy and silly, but she does make me and Will laugh everyday! So Saffron is mommy, Spice is Grandmother and Wasabi is great grand mother?
Yes everything is fun for Tenshi, but then everything is fun for her human mom too! Darlah, you are so right about the class. I was discouraged in my first class, I didn't know what I was doing, so Tenshi doesn't know what to expect. Now we are at class 4, I feel like there's hope that she is listening to us. The classes definitely teach the handler how to feel closer to the pups by learning how to communicate with the pups.

I love the classes, they are invaluable for humans and the dogs, imho, and are tons of fun too. I can definitely recommend the follow-up class to what you are taking called Practical Living. It teaches 'house manners' like 'go to mat' when someone comes to the door or you are in the kitchen etc.

Amy is so smart, now how did she figure out the iPad is a 'touch-pad'? 😉

I was streaming one of Radar's classes when we were in that stage on the tv and Radar was sitting watching the tv with such an intense interest....... they are incredible.

Nathan has a way with the dogs. I have been in a couple of different classes with him and he always has the dogs looking directly into his face, it's amazing. He truly is the Animal Communicator.

... and here I thought Nathan had come up with a highly creative solution on his own :)

Tenshi's is beautiful.
