Relationships

Why do we introduce the dogs to the adults slowly at this age? We have to see how the adult interacts with the adult and we do this 1 at a time till we know. At times the adults think the pups are gremlins or irritants and you have to act accordingly. It is very important for them to have positive interactions. That doesn't mean that a dog won't growl saying no you can't feed off of me, or no I am not interested in play at this time. This is actually an important learning phase so they can learn to read other dogs and not only know what they are saying but to learn to respect what they are saying.

Here is today's gallery.

Today they had a great deal of fun and soon will be going upstairs to run up and down the halls before bed.

Tomorrow afternoon Saffron gets her bath and so does. Margo as she is the first to depart.

The days are going by way too fast. Be sure to check out the videos especially outside as they truly are fun to watch.

Hard to believe that Saffron's puppies will be leaving soon for their forever homes.

How is Stormy with the puppies ? Is she still her boisterous self ?
