5 Weeks Old

This gal is so fun, its unreal. Nathan had this gal on his lap and she climbed up his body, walked behind him, down him and had a roaring grand time. What a fun, agile puppy.

We are going to try to put them upstairs today without Saffron. This means we will watch them on the camera but they won't have Dennis or Saffron at night from 10 to 7am. It's either going to happen tonight or tomorrow. Dennis has to sterilize the xpen and floor upstairs and that takes time. We always do it when all the puppies depart but we do it again with a new litter.

Here is today's gallery.

Looks like the 6 week visit will be divided up between Saturday and Sunday plus an extra visit for someone who lives far away. On the 8 week visit we are picking a day and that's it. Sorry - three  6 week puppy visits I understand the reasons but let's do the 8 week all together, please. Plus it's really good that you meet the other families so you can get together in the future. I really like the families knowing each other. It's nice - at least I think so.

Puppies had softened Fromms kibble today with chicken and some ate it really well. Some tasted and went okay - not now. We are starting the transition to Fromms. Mom is feeding them less or trying to. She growls them off to say eat food but they are not in the listening stage yet. All but 1 has teeth poking through. All but 2 are over 2 pounds now and 2 are in the 1lb 13 oz range despite Nathan weighing one and getting a different result LOL. They will all be over 2lbs when you see them.

Be sure to check out the galleries.

What great pictures, and beautiful puppies, once again, for Saffron! Nathan always looks so happy when he's surrounded or covered in puppies. Love it!
