Update Saffron

She needs help to get in and out of the xpen so she is in a bit more pain but she is eating well. She is feeding her pups. They are gaining. Her bowels are solid. She is really amazing. She is doing well. Her pups are rather lively too.

I do believe one may be a chocolate. Can you tell which. The white with a black streak over one eye and full mask on the other is a character already,

She is doing so well that Dennis may be doing night shift.

Some of these photos may be a duplicate of an earlier gallery but I am not totally recovered. So just enjoy them again. Here is the gallery.

Beautiful photos. At the end of the day, all is well for Saffie and her pups. She looks happy although no doubt in some pain but that will pass. She is resilient and a wonderful mommy ❤️

She is a remarkable being and I pray she has no pain soon.
Pups are lovely, just like their Mom.
Hope you are feeling better and are getting to sleep..

Happy to hear that Saffron is beginning to feel a little better. She is such a great mommy. Her babies look content already.

Just read previous blog, they didn’t spay her did they?
You should have been given opportunity to bring pup home.
Hope you let your vet know how you were treated even if you don’t make a complaint.

What a great dog Saffron is and a terrific Mom. 😑

Love Saffie. She has always had a special place in my heart. She is such a wonderful mom.
I do believe the brown and cream little girl with the white stripe down the forehead is a chocolate ... yes?
Hope you are starting to recover, Darlah, I understand your anger. I was beside myself when I heard what you were going through, just so thankful that Saffie is home and doing well.

It is such a nice sight to see Saffron taking care of her babies. I hope she is feeling better soon. There is always a character puppy in her crew. :) She makes such
beautiful, spirited puppies.
Perhaps the brown and cream girl is a chocolate?

So happy to see her doing well. I hope her pain subsides and that you may start to catch up on some sleep perhaps? I love watching these videos and following your blogs. Appreciate all the effort and care!

She looks so contented and look at the strong little legs on the pups !! All is well now and hopefully her pain will lessen each day.

She still has milk so I gather they didn't spay her. Terrible to have to wonder.
She is getting too interested in Cinnamon and Ella's pups so the fun begins. LOL

Dennis will have fun with them tonight. I stay up till midnight then he takes over. He didn't get into bed early enough.

Then grooming tomorrow and maybe some normalcy - we shall see.

Christine - your guess may be correct. She appears so.

It is a relief to see Saffron feeding her pups. I really am dumbfounded that people who look after ailing animals can themselves be cruel. I agree with reporting them. I do hope that every day brings a semblance of normalcy back. Glad she is eating. Always a good sign. Beautiful pups. Looking forward to watching them grow.
