2 Days Old Plus

Do you notice how plump the pups are? Well, they are now gaining over an ounce in 24 hours with one at 7/8oz where the 1st 24 hours they barely gained. That's normal. They either barely gain or lose that 1st 24 hours but we are very in top of it to make sure the gains occur. We place them on and make sure moms have a LOT of meals so they can produce milk. We - well me also spend a lot of time giving massages and snuggles as I truly believe a happy mom is a positive for the pups and besides, I love them. They do a lot of work in caring for them. If they didn't love it, we wouldn't breed them. Never had an unhappy mom but do hear of them. Here we make sure they get all the attention in the world and that's why you see them smiling. I smile when I see them smile.

Here is the gallery.

Sage is on antibiotics till her back milk stations loosen up. I figure a couple of days as they already are seeing a change. She also has so much milk now and that's why you see the pups getting plump. The 2 bottom stations, they barely have to close their mouth and the milk flows. At 1st they didn't want to eat out of those 2 but are. Dennis was unable to get a pup to use the 2 he announced this morning but I sat down at 7am and had no issue. I told him I would show him at 10pm how I accomplished it.

Here are the videos. They are always here when I get to them. I try to get them up throughout the day.
