It's a Tie
446pm till 5pm for a 14 minute tie
I would take a recent photo of him but he's been besides himself. You see he has not eaten for 7 meals. This happens with stress and a gal in heat. Not all boys do this but he does. Tonight he ate 2 meals. I am going to try to fit him in for a bath over this weekend. He's brushed out and all but boys mark outside to protect the perimeter of the gal in their mind. You have to rinse their undersides daily. It is a crazy process.
We now have Stormy in heat.

Busy months ahead for you guys! With Sage tied and Stormy in heat....that’s potentially 4 litters so far. .. Woof!
No ties for Stormy?
Not doing Stormy. She will be bred next time. As it is we will have pups born when these first two litters are about 4 weeks so Dennis will be doing an extended night duty till I think June. I need an outside boy for Stormy and during covid times, and Nathan not being able to travel for many reasons, it makes sense to wait. I am hopeful her next heat that travelling to the boy we have in mind will not be an issue. I want to duplicate the Nami litter as I am so pleased with it.
We have 4 litters without Stormy so 5 is too crazy - next heat please - Misty, Raven, Sage and Spirit will have pups this cycle. I have no doubt all will be pregnant. Xrays for Misty and Raven in a week. It will be exceptionally hard due to the overlap about 4 weeks into the 1st 2 litters and the last 2 arriving when night duty should be concluding. It means 8 weeks of night duty in a row and Nathan and I holding down the fort till afternoon each day and me grooming. It is a lot of work the way we do it but we feel we get the best pups that way.
Totally makes sense with everything you guys have going on. Just wondered because you mentioned Stormy was in heat. We loved Nami too so we were wondering if we might get her sibling, but I know we’ll have a great choice amongst the pups that are coming up! I know it’s easy to say, but try to get some relax time in. At least some sleep! ❤️
Can you believe Nami is in heat too but she's a puppy. Earliest ever and she's not happy about it. Wants to play with the guys.
