Last Time
She is due april 30th on. These pups will go home in July, I think. Yesterday was her last breeding. She is not standing for Truffie and Truffie is back to eating.
Sage will be totally out of heat by tomorrow - or today. Spirit will be another 7 to 10 days. As we have others, we do not feel the need to check. How do you know? You place her in with the boys and if they smell and walk away - she is done. I suspect she already is.
There was a marked difference today with Truffie eating and girls no longer flirting except Nami. :-)

Rebel is quite the character too - personality plus. Spirit still idolizes her.

Leti and Stone - Spirit, Saffron and Stone - Sage. Leti was our dog from Prague. Both lines are in the standard but on the small size.
I remember Nathan talking about bringing a pup from Prague home. Cool. Do you still have her?

No, we recently placed her to the most amazing family. It was very hard as she was my heart dog. They needed her and she needed them. I had to close down and stop thinking right after. I knew for her - not for me it was the right decision. She gets one on one attention and Leti needed that. It helps that I have her daughter who I adore. Loving someone sometimes means letting them go to have the extra attention that some truly need.
That is both sad and beautiful at the same time
