5 Days Old Plus 2.5 Lil One

I made a decision to put the littlest one of Willows on to Spirit to test if she would gain vs lose - which she did all day. Despite me sitting with her then Nathan sitting and having her eat, she would lose. As we are experienced in such things, I put her on Spirit and she was slow eating (that's the issue) but gained 4/8oz first feeding and then 2/8oz next feeding.

Here is the gallery.

Willow doesn't seem to notice and Spirit is over the moon happy. The other Willow pups now can easily find a milk slot. I am not sure how long she will stay here but I want her of size. She was always lively so not sick. I know what sick pups sound, look and feel like. She just needed some substance on her. I simply think it was the competition and when little, you take a long time to eat.

Personally, I am glad I found a solution.

Spirit pups are much larger but she will play catch up.

Spirit's pups act like warm pillows and surround her.

We take this day by day to see how it all unfolds.

Videos are already up. I may put up a few but as the day was extra busy, I may not get to them. I have 4 more blogs to do, bedding to change, watering, feeding and yes that evil laundry.

Spirit's gal has brown pads.
