13 Days

The pups are 4 days apart and this is the size different. Yes, Spirit's pups will be longer in body but they are actually on the same weight path. Neither litters will be oversized. I just find it funny the differences. Both moms are small dogs. Tempie is short in body and Spirit is longer but not very long. Four days does make a difference but you can see the differences side by side.

Both litters the pups enjoy being held. Sometimes they need to get used to it before their eyes are open but all just melt in your hands.

12 Days Old

You can find this crew spooning often. They like the touch of each other and mom snuggles with them too. In a couple of days they will be 2 weeks old. 

Misty and sage's were 4 days apart and these 2 crew are 3 days apart. They will be easy to merge, I imagine. You will also be able to tell who is who in comparison to Tempie's crew.

11 Days Old

How plump they are. No squinty eyes yet.

They so melt in your hands now. I hold them and go awwww. 

I brush up Spirit and she rolls in the blankets and puts her scent all over them. I just laugh. 

Sprit is eating better. I find if I ignore her, she eats. If I insist on her eating, she won't. 

These 2 do like to snuggle but they were enjoying the rug today vs. the blanket that was extra soft. How van that be? LOL

10 Days Old

They eat, they sleep and sometimes move here and there into the best spooning position.

The pups are often found snuggling. It is wonderful to see. With only 4 days apart, these 2 crews will be able to be put together earlier vs. later. How nice is that? Of course we have to have eyes open and walking and playing going on but we will get there.

I do not see any squinty eyes so it is not time yet for open eyes. The earliest is 10 days and the latest has been 20 days. Open eyes is not an indicator of anything. They happen when they do. All it does is allow them to ass one more sense to their abilities and it usually means exploring starts occurring.
