The Vet Speaks

She has asked us to change the date for Cinnamon's xray to the 7th and Raven and Leti the 10th. She thinks earlier than later. Oh boy... She feels if we wait to the 10th, we may not make it. Time will tell. We call tomorrow. This is our reproduction vet. We get xrays locally.

With breeding eggs can be ready up to 3 days before breeding but count starts when the eggs drop. It is a hard concept to grasp but it is always 3 days either way from the breeding that took. But unless you do progesterone to know which breeding took, it is a guess. But if she can potentially have the pups on the 10th, it makes sense to do an xray on the 7th. Thats all. It also means I need to get my projects done.
