The Fun Of It All

It was wet so we headed upstairs this morning. Then this afternoon they went outside with Dennis.

Here is the gallery from the morning.

Pups had a blast today. They are really a wonderful bunch. Right from the start they exited their carrier to embrace the newness and we do mix things up for them. When its a tad warmer, they will be taken outside in our arms in the front to see cars going by. They will also take a car ride to the vets and back.

As so many asked us, I am going to start posting links of things we have or want for ourselves for the pups.

This chair above can be found here. As you can see, they love it. If this wasn't covid times, I sometimes check out the baby consignment shops as they really have toys, blankets, play mats etc.

I also like the lamaze toys as they can hang on a lot of things for fun. There are also so many teethers but don't get the fluid inside ones as they truly can be a hazard depending on the fluid inside. The silicone teethers are good and can be found at Toys R Us or baby stores or even pet stores. Just search for teethers.

We also get some of our beds from Dearmint. They are a little pricey but the quality is amazing. We do not get anything from these referrals but let them know who told you about them so they at least know.

Go to amazon and search for cat tunnels. There are many but some are not great quality. Some are. I will tell you what I think if you send me mail.

You need to get a carrier to bring your puppy home. If you get a sherpa, get the large size not the medium. There are many brands but do not get the really cheap ones. They collapse. The Amazon Basic ones are terrible. They can travel in the car with you in these, sleep in one on your bed when they first come home, travel in an air and they are mighty comfie in them. Pups that come for grooming and/or play readily jump out of it to go play and jump back in to go home. It is amazing as they have been conditioned to them. The price range varies but cheap is well it will collapse. Our daughter got a Khore which is more expensive than the sherpa bags as she wanted one on wheels that also worked as a carseat, backpack and a bed. As she travels, this worked well for her.

If there are anything you are thinking of and want to know, just ask.

I ordered the medium Sherpa, just to use while we’re housebreaking, I have a larger crate for when the pup is trained. Should I cancel the medium and get the large?

I have a medium Sherpa from from my last dog. Should I get a large too?
Can you use the large size Sherpa on a plane in the cabin?

Yes, large is the best to be honest! Yes the large fits under the seat - no issue. It is what we use when Nathan has taken a pup on a plane.

Sherry - yes the Dearmint carseat bed is the best - so beautiful and cozy.
