Little Complicated

With one, we will have to monitor Raven and hope she does not need a c-section. This puppy will be an expensive one but well monitored. LOL

Our vet thinks she can't go longer than the 16th/17th.

We are hopeful she can whelp on her own.

Our vet said:

However, with that radiograph being done yesterday, that pup is close to calcified and as expected large as a singleton.  I believe that pup is going to need to be taken on October 16th/17th.  I have some of these small breed singletons surprise me and whelp naturally, but 65% usually need a c-section.

I was thinking about that. You'll probably want to keep this little one with all the attention and effort attached. I hope all goes well.

I forgot that this is the risk when there is only one puppy. I’m trying to remember if this is Raven’s 2nd or 3rd litter. I think she had five puppies last time?
Hope everything goes well.

it's her 2nd and nathan's fault for only 1. He had given up on breeding so timing would have been the issue. It happens.

NATHAN! (Wish I had someone to point the finger at sometimes - LOL)

Nathan admitted it was his fault actually. I said yep. Usually I say no but hes accurate here. LOL He's only human after all.
