The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

I was going to get a drink but Raven is splayed across the door saying you are now staying with me. :-)I get it so yes, I am. only an hour and a half till bedtime. She will be miffed - and rightly so. <sigh>
The pups look amazing on this brown blanket, don't you think?

Raven just seems like such a wonderful mom
Raven is. I do not have a bad mom or even an inattentive one. I would not allow them to be a mom again, if that was the case. I do strive to give them balance so they don't feel as if all they are is a mommy. That's why I indulge her running around the pool. It's something she truly enjoys so why not. We sit in the recliner together and she gets belly rubs, massages and plain loving. This is all from a location where she can see the babies. Then she says - enough - I got my babies to take care of. She loves them up and nuzzles them while they sleep. I laugh as they used to totally wake up when she did this but now they stay semi asleep.
All the pups are absolutely stunning. I can't believe they are already a week old! Raven is such a good mom, and it is clear how much she loves the pups!
