5 Days Old

I still have videos to upload. I am so far behind but I will get to them tonight. You can find them here.

Raven hides her pups now so it makes taking photos challenging. She is keeping them away from Misty. It is so funny!

Pups are gaining slow and steady. #3 is still gaining the most. It is funny as he started out the smallest.

When I groom a great deal, Raven wants to visit me often. I wonder if she thinks I left teh building.

Here is the gallery.

Haha, Raven is funny! Does Misty come visit a lot? Or Raven just likes to get out of the whelping box more often so she thinks hiding the pups will protect them while she’s gone? I’m really happy Raven is recovering from her surgery so well!

Raven is absolutely gorgeous. We are all relieved she has recovered so nicely - we all got a huge scare! That’s funny about her hiding the puppies! So sweet.

Lisa: yeah an emotional roller coaster - sorry - for me too.Breeding is not always for the faint of heart. Thankfully this is a rare occurrence. Our 1st for this issue and 30 years for our vet.

Ronnie: That they are!

Raven stays in her whelping box more than Misty and that's the issue. Misty - while her pups are sleeping likes to check on the pups that are not hers.

Raven looks so happy in this photo. A very proud momma.
