1 Day Shy of 4 Weeks Old

The Tempie pups were outside again today and they seem to love it. But we only got out once as it is raining now. That's okay as we usually start with once a day to test the waters but this crew did fabulous. 

They had a good time today too. 

Bowels are good as they continue to eat Mousse if mom doesn't steal it. LOL 

They play like crazy now. It's wonderful! Kisses - yep - snuggles - yep!

26 Days 1st Outdoor and First Food

As this is the oldest crew, they got their 1sts first. How did they do? Wonderful. They embraced the food and the outdoors and they did so well that they went outside twice.

We had to put netting up as the wasps was incredible pests so we did much to Dennis irritation. It takes time to hang it so I did all the preliminary work - finding which size, which zippers worked, and then I put the hangers on and he hung them. I wish we had done this in April. I ate outside and enjoyed vs being chased in the house as I couldn't eat with the swarm. We have about 20 that dive bomb food and the pups today - no thank you much. The odd ones gets in but so far it is working.

I really checked each out. She has very pretty pups. There is a gal that cocks her head to look at me - a curious thing. I never seen that at this age. It is so cute!

25 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Going to try to get the Tempie pups outside sometime thsisweek. Last night they didn't lose but didn't gain much. I call this the scattered to a huge area syndrome. They will learn but it is sort of normal when they have a large area.

I am going to do shorter blogs as this schedule is rather insane. Stopping most nights at 11 and going and going - no tv - no down time - no resting the leg. 

Pups are doing well. I am helping them find room on mom where there is not much room. I am thinking she needs to stand up. By the end of 3 days, we are going to try mousse. We will see how that goes.

24 Days Old Nails Plus New Area

We had a lot going on thus we are extra late. The pups had their nails done today. I had a brain drain thinking everyone has 2 gals. Well Tempie has 3. Willow just 1 and Sprit just 1 and Ella 2.  So the boys rule as they outnumber the gals. LOL

Videos are up but the new area will be uploaded shortly.

The Tempie pups embraced the new area and was walking all over as if to say - wow room then they got confused and started calling for mom. Now they are sleeping. I just did it now but its not complete. We need a pad in the Spirit area and maybe a crate or house in the Tempie area. We shall see. But now to see if the moms get confused. Got to keep them on their toes.

23 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

This crew is really lively for short bursts and then they eat and sleep. It's a riot and they do need a larger pen but we are trying to wait till Spirit's pups have their eyes open. Then they will trade xpens. I am going to slowly take down the blankets between to get the moms used to them being exposed. This is part of conditioning for mom. 

As Dennis has their pens open without coverage at night, I think they are ready. We already have 2 that are curious and smart enough to go to the corner of the pen to look out. 

Next week we will start bringing this crew outside to play.

22 Days

Here is the gallery.

I am very late as I had way too many to groom so we are short blogging across the board as I want to be in bed before 11. Yes - usually that is 10 but these days.

Puppies are full out playing. I so wish I had nothing to do but play with the puppies as they are getting to that fun, fun, fun stage

3 Weeks Old

Can you believe this crew is 3 weeks old already? I can't. In about a week they will be going outside to play. WOW!

They do snuggle, kiss and get animated to see me. It is wonderful.

They have just arrived at the point of not getting weighed daily. They jump out of the scale making it impossible. But I will still when sleeping weigh here and there to track that they are gaining. Today was a wild jump out of the scale experience. This always happens but usually a bit later than 3 weeks.

Videos are going up soon. Sorry late but just too much on my plate and well getting out of a funk. Not your issue - mine.

One Day Shy of 3 Weeks

Each day you can play and interact with the Tempie pups and it is so delightful. I can't believe that tomorrow they are 3 weeks old. It is time to clip nails, Nathan!

Tempie is so attentive and its a joy to her to mother them. 

2 Weeks 5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

This bunch is heading up to 3 weeks. They are playing with each other, their toys and using the pad if we place them on it. Soon we will have to switch Spirit's pen to theirs and put them in the larger pen and take Spirit's out of the whelping box but we won't for a bit of time to avoid any confusion with Spirit.

Momma Tempie loves when I lay in the xpen and play with them. I should set up a tripod so you can see how much fun to have pups of an age interacting with you. 

Tempie is such a highly curious dog. I wonder if her pups will be. Smart puppies - indeed!

2 Weeks 4 Days

Now we do have some not just attempting to walk but some that are absolutely walking a distance. Bravo little ones! Here is one of teh boys that gets from point A to Point B on his feet.

They are reaching the fun fun stage. I sit inside with them - well lay down and they kiss my face. How delightful is that?
