What a Ride

Nathan arrived yesterday and they had an outside tie. Usually if they become pregnant - takes sperm to do so meeting egg. LOL But usually the number in litter is low. So, i am thinking no pregnancy or a singleton or 3. Willow is a maiden gal so you never know for a first time. This morning it wasn't for a lack of trying but they did not connect. As she is still fertile and will be tomorrow, Nathan decided to stay. Paula is back and he's at her home.

I sent Nathan that I had bred Leti and was holding them in place. 10 minutes later he said they are tied. So, they will try again tomorrow and he will come home. You only need 1 good tie during this period but I like to have 2 good solid ones for my own paranoid piece of mind.

Poor Nathan - how stress-filled but now he knows I had a connection with leti and he had one with Willow - well actually 2 if you count the outside tie and believe me we have had a litter of 4 with an outside tie. Ace just had a litter of seven 2 weeks ago so we know he has viable sperm.

Now we can all relax. Pups will come around April 27th

Exciting times ahead, especially for those waiting for a pup. It will be a busy but fun filled spring.
