Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Her anal gland has been expressed. I tried but it wouldn't express for me. It is still swollen but not punctured. It will heal.

From repro vet:

I see 6 pups on this radiograph as well.  I believe she is due as you expect on August 5th - this Thursday.  Due to her size and groaning with 6 pups present, I would not be surprised by August 4th either.  

I am glad the anal gland was not too much of an issue.

From me: We are on watch despite the dates She is not happy with me picking her up and I will not be taking temperatures as I assume she is just too sore there. So, we will watch for other signs.

She was semi expressed. They did not burst. She is on antibiotics and should heal. I shaved a larger area there so she stays extra clean. I feel bad as today she is absolutely uncomfie but if she holds out till Thursday, it may be healed quite a bit. Glad we caught this now. She's in the - I am so bursting stage.
