11 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

As the youngest set they will most likely open their eyes last but not necessarily. LOL

It will be a fun house when they all get to know each other and go for play sessions. So much to look forward to.

They are eating well. They can still find a milkslot on their own.

Videos are up. More will be added in a bit.

10 Days

Here is the gallery.

This is the youngest set but not by much. Pups are gaining, moving and doing really well. Ms Willow actually stayed semi-brushed today. Willow would prefer for me not to groom and stay with her all day. She's not needy. She just says - mom stay with us.

Videos are up and I am uploading more in a few minutes.

9 Days

Can you believe I combed her today? I can't. What a messy mommy she is. LOL

Here is the gallery.

All the pups are chunky and eating well.

Willow is into a groove. Will be soon that this crew has their eyes open. Then the real fun begins.

Videos are up.

Edging Up to 8 Days

Here is the gallery.

As you can see, they are chunky monkeys. Willow continues to be food and treat motivated. Each time I walk near the treats she goes wild so I am sitting and waiting till she finishes feeding and then I can move. Dennis says he has the same issue during the night. Food is everything. LOL

The videos are up.

Willow is no longer putting blankets over the puppies. Good thing as it makes it more difficult to find her.

They are a beautiful bunch.

Almost 7 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

I thought as I took her pup away so early, she didn't really realize and she sniffed her and walked away. I made sure they all did so they knew. It is important to say goodbye. Off and on she has been looking in Spirits pen and whimpering. It is a strange process. I so wish the dogs could talk to me. You know what they say about assuming. We all grieve in our own way but I am going to concentrate on snuggles, redirecting and having them enjoy their little ones without worry.

This crew is doing really well. They are getting bigger so finding a slot can be interesting. Soon, moms will realize they need to lay on their back or sit up so they have access but its too early for that except for Tempies.

We move forward...

Videos are up and I will try to get more up later.

5.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Pups are doing well. Willow is getting into a groove. She still gets excited to see me but has now found my lap when her pups are sleeping and they sleep a good chunk of time between.

The pups love to snuggle. That black and white stands out in this crowd.

I do hold them a few times a day to get them used to touch. It is early conditioning before their eyes are open.

Videos are up. I will try to do one last one at bedtime.

4.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Willow drives me crazy. She always covers up her puppies or makes a mess of her blankets. I am forever digging pups out. Now I am just putting mats in as she tends to leave them mostly alone.

Pups are doing well. Willow still gets overly excited to see me. It's wonderful. She lightens my load when she greets me like this. Moms and I get really close as I spend the most time with them.

Videos are already up.

3.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Willow and her pups are doing well. She is a doting mom though she will leave them for momnts if she thinks she is getting a treat. She loves her treats.

Pups are lively and can be found scattered to the winds at times.

Time to change all the bedding. Maybe I will get to sit down in the recliner again then maybe not. LOL

I get to look at any fussing puppy from pen to pen. Look forward to them being older like Tempies.

The videos are up.

Over 2.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Now that Willow has just 5, she actually seems more relaxed and pups are not crying for milk. I have been so busy that I was not able to weigh pups at 7. I have spot weighed them but will play catch up at 7am.

I am finding I have no downtime and a ton of work. This will get easier.

Willow's gal who is with Spirit has now had 3 feedings and have gained each time. I am glad that moms - both handled it well and pups are now gaining and not fussing.

Willow's remaining pups seem that they don't have to compete as much for milk stations.

Now if I didn't have another mother to feed the pup, I would have had to start tube feeding every 2 hours. Moms milk is always better and you do not have to worry about aspiration.

Videos are already up. If you have any questions, post in the comments. There are no stupid questions.

Over a Day and a Half Old

Here is the gallery.

Pups and mom are doing well. They can be noisy much like Ella's when they want momma's milk. Willow is eating really well. Her bowels are already solid where Ella's took till today to have the same. It may have something to do with the antibiotics she is on. Though that usually has the opposite affect. Her anal gland has a pinhole in it as if it was going to burst but has now healed over. Bravo! She will continue to take antibiotics for 8 more days.

Pups are scrappers and you can usually find them crawling all over the place.

Videos are up and more will be added.
