Rest

I must be good at this run down the halls, catch me and play retrieve game. We are doing a lot of it inside as the weather is bad. I am perfecting my slide on the wood floors with my socks.

The dogs don't even want to go out to do their business or take walks but we persist, They look at us as if to say - really?

So don't say you can't exercise your dogs if the weather is bad. We still do. The walks are shorter so the inside play is longer and it does take effort but they do get tuckered out.

This rain is terrible, it is the same in Huntsville and there is more to come. Cooper doesn't particularly enjoy going out in the rain either and when we take him out, he walks along the side of the deck, which is covered by the roof overhang, so it is dry....clever little dog...whereas we have to walk on the deck with an umbrella open! But, he has to go down the steps and there is no cover! Russell, being who he is, puts this giant umbrella over the Coop so he doesn't get wet. The things we do for our dogs :-)

Heh we allow them to get wet but I get to dry them - so I think Russell is smart. :-0
