Outside Playing

Remember Logan getting his haircut short. I have to search back and see the date.

Logan is not one of my breedings but he is dearly loved. I have been washing him weekly and brushing him out 5 days a week and his hair as difficult as it was is changing. I almost gave in and said cut him short again a month ago and then I said after the picnic and suddenly the texture, the colour, the products I am using is paying off so the moral of this story is don't give in too early if you have difficult hair. Most Havanese don't have this texture hair. Our Shoshi has the same texture but a thicker coat - easier in some ways and harder in others.

I rather like the way Logan looks these days and he's got a personality that I adore!

We had a low key day playing retrieve and cuddling as the weather has not been good enough to swim but they say the heat wave is coming tomorrow.

Here are a few photos from today...

Tomorrow I hope we have heat, lots of swimming as we do when a heat-wave comes on and we even manage to get unexpected visitors wanting to swim with their dawgs. We will see what this holiday weekend brings.

Off to wash a couple of dogs tonight and take some photos for their human mom and dad.

Logan really is beautiful! I looked back at his short coat and it certainly did grow in quickly! His colouring is quite striking as well. Does he have a changing coat of colours? Was he darker as a puppy?

Yes, he was darker as a pup but not by much. I saw the puppy photos and I actually like his coat colours now.

I really like his colouring as well!

Benji has the same colouring (a bit darker) but his hair is cut so it looks different and he has a wave to his hair like his mom Fiona. Will be interesting to see what Fiona has this time with Mugs.
