Indoor & Outside Fun

Scruffy just had the snip, snip so he was unable to go in the pool but that's okay. He had fun from the moment her arrived till he went home and I am sure it continued. Gad was he so full of it today and it was grand to watch Scruffy, Benji and Roxie play.

Here are a couple of more photos.

We also had some pool time fun with ours and some visitors. Breeze and Chinook was hanging out and is now hanging out at their cottage on Lake Huron - lucky them! I got the duo all lined combed and washed up in hopes that it will last as Shelley has a broken arm. I doubt sand, water and all that will make it last but I am sure we will hear.

Kat was having a grand time jumping in but everyone that was visiting or ours that wanted to was swimming including Dexter, Benji and Daisy.

Swam again this evening so no time for photos but here are a few that I managed to get together. I will try to get more tomorrow but highlights.... Benji is a very strong swimmer and adored the pool. Dexter wasn't crazy about this swimming stuff but once he got in he wanted to keep going. Daisy was a riot and jumped on the top step then the 2nd and out then did it again and then decided to jump right in and swim from the 2nd step.

After all was wet they did the 'run like hell' game and Nathan brushed them all out. I had brushed them all this morning before we went out to the pool. Nathan brushed after they got wet. I did appreciate the help.

It all happens again tomorrow.

Me, I am burnt but wow it was nice to be back in the pool.

Loved the photos of the dogs and Nathan in action, flying into pool and swimming. Good to know Benji's a strong swimmer. He hasn't had that much practice to date, but is obviously making up for lost time..

He's a great swimmer and is truly a fun dog. He's so happy go lucky and really had no adjustment. He fits in and embraces whatever is the theme of the hour. He will be back in swimming today as its so hot. Hope you are having a great time! Grooming, no problem. He caught on fast too. Yesterday I brushed him but didn't have my grooming jacket on so the treats were in the other room and he gave me the look as if to say, so where is the treat?

PS: Fiona is a very strong and confident swimmer too.

Luv seeing the swimmers in action! Adore the photo of Kat on his back haunches getting ready to push off into a perfect dive.

Your pool shows off spendidly in the photos as they have such sparkle! Nice to see Nathan and the dogs enjoying it.

I hate to admit it, but I'm really having a hard time telling Miss Abs and The Rox apart. They're both so beautiful! :-)

PS-Is that Katsura I'm assuming is diving into the pool?

June 29, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterDebi

Yes, that's Kat. Only Kat jumps off the side of the pool. Truffie, Roxie, Spice jump off the float but not the side. Roxie jumps off the stairs. Fiona jumps off the side. The rest wade in or sit on the stairs.

Love seeing all the dogs enkoying the pool. Kat sure does love swimming.
I wonder if Kona would be brave enough to try it out.

You will have to bring him by sometime and we will give it a try. Kat appears to have a true passion for it. There's no other way to explain it. When Nathan gets his trunks on he goes nuts. By the end of the summer he will have solid muscles.
