Oh My What a Cutie

Didn't get to take a lot of Socks photos as mom came to get him early so I had to send her away as I was not done. :-0

But here he is minutes before mom came back. He cleans up rather well.

I am playing catch-up with my own crew and poor Lynda has food poisoning so no class tonight. The duo will be taken care of by us so she can recover. I heard its pretty bad. As someone who has had this - not a fun experience at all. Poor lady and here's wishing she gets well as that experience is not fun.

Sparky also had a bath and as his parents are not here yet, I managed to get a few of him. Their plane keeps getting later and later so here's hoping Sparky stays clean as he is that kind of a guy. He can't help himself but be a play monkey and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As Nathan has their car and is supposed to pick them up at the airport and the time keeps changing we are also missing class. I am not up to it besides. I have a stomach ache - not sure why. It happens.

Here are a few photos of Sparky still clean. :-)

Socks is such a cutie. Guess mom was glad to see him. I really love the colouring on Sparky. The picture with his mom is great -- on for the family picture wall! From all your comments, I take it Sparky lives up to his name.
Darlah I love the blog and have followed it for a few years now. Remember the dogs are important but they would be nothing without you. Therefore take care of yourself and Nathan. Those of us who enjoy the blog understand if not everything gets done every day. I don't keep a blog or take great pictures like you, but I get behind too. Must me age with me.

Sox is very cute and hair like "velvet." Sparky is beautiful like his Mom, I think. I see similarities between him and Laci w/ the facial expressions. Is Kat his Daddy? I'm only guessing, but was he born black and white and has now silvered? I agree w/ Marilyne . . . his colouring is exquisite! Is Sparky related to Breeze and Chinook? Questions, questions! :-)

Kat is the dad. Chinook is his brother (littermate) and he was black and white but you could tell he was going to silver out.

Sox's hair looks so velvet as I tend to brush it out constantly and then comb it till it shines. With black it is easy to see. His mom really likes how I do his hair. I am glad. We won't see him till February.

Marilyne: Kind words - thank you!!!!

Debi, it does look like velvet doesn't it?
Also, I love Sparky's thick, full coat. It seems to suit his personality :)

Lori - yes, I think the large solid areas of black shows off Sock's hair texture beautifully. I think Laci's hair would be almost Sparky's length if her groomer hadn't of cut it shorter than I asked. Oh well, I have a feeling she's not as accustomed to grooming a Hav as she said. I suspect she had that problem we all have when cutting our own hair or tweezing brows . . . do a little here and then back there, then to even it out over there, so back to cut more off here and then . . . well you know what I mean. LOL I have to forgive her first try at cutting Laci, but a little chat is required. We'll work it all out. :-)
