Ms. Laci Visits
Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 5:19PM We had a welcomed visit with Ms. Laci and boy does she feel and look good. Bravo, Deb! Coco and Doozie departed. We had visitors this afternoon, visitors tonight. Tomorrow we have class. Oh boy... and I also groomed everyone, bathed several dogs and now I am blogging it awaiting another visitor.

We will head outside again probably in winter coats after the visitors depart. Boy is it cold out there but at least no snow. Brr I hear Cooper had his first snow of the season in Huntsville.

Great to see Laci ! She looks beautiful I would not have recognized her from puppy pictures. Her coat has changed colour. It looks soft and plush.

Laci & I thank you both for her 1st "real doggie play date at Talemaker." It's obvious she had a good time! Don't know whether she's a play monkey - or what - but when we got home she wanted the play to continue and so we did! She is having a nap now. :-)
Loved seeing Ms. Abigail again and sis Roxie and as well having some hugs from adorable Adele. Also, loved meeting Jeannie and your new Cali. I think Cali has that "star quality" but that's my humble opinion. Bet she will do well! :-)

Debi: It was wonderful to see her and she did play really well with everyone. As you can see she was running and playing and she rather liked the Ms. Cali in a big way too. She wanted to chase Cali and Cali wanted to chase her. hehe Thnx for bringing her!
It is so nice to see Ms. Laci in action. She looks beautiful Deb and her coat is beautiful. I am really happy to know that she visited today. As for Ms. Cali, she is quite the pistol!

Anne: I think Ms. Cali has no choice - all these bigger dogs and all. She does take lots of naps to recover.
MS. Laci's hair was amazingly soft.She has a very cute haircut too. She is so sweet.
Laci wants to thank everyone for their kind comments about her hair! She thinks maybe Mommy's efforts to try and keep her beautiful and mat/tat free could be worth it . . . as long as she continues to get cheese bits! :-) Now . . . . if only Mommy could get her to stop rubbing her head on the rug seconds after she's finished. LOL
PS: Laci reminded me that we have to thank Manuela, the family dog groomer for over 25 yrs! Her loving skills are invaluable. :-)
Cheers for Manuela, she has given Laci a very cute trim. Debi we all know that
the brushing really makes a big difference. It is a team effort.
Kathy - I have to be honest w/ you as Laci's do is not a trim. It was a short do that's just growing out and I do love it. Manuela used to tell me it's either grow the hair long and don't cut it or you cut it all off. Now she says she will scissor cut an inch or so when I want that done. Perhaps she was waiting for me to perfect my skills. I have a long way to go to perfection, but I am improving so that's a good thing. :-)
As for Daddy joining the grooming "team." He doesn't do anything his girls human or canine don't like. I guess that's Dads and Daughters for you. LOL

Shelley - Laci is definitely a Girly Girl, but she has her Tomboyish moments - only w/ the squirrels and chips though - otherwise she is "The Princess!" LOL And, looking forward to some more play-dates soon! :-)

Argh - most of my photos of Roxie are on backup and will take a lot of time to retrieve. But here are a few that are not on backup. She is the lighter of the two in her litter. If you are looking at colour, she was approx the shade of Adele's sister. They are just lacking the black mask that faded on Roxie. It faded on Adele to a lesser degree. See this link Click Here

Pavlov and I think Roxie is darker than her now. You have to look at the roots not just the end of the hair.
