Wet and Muddy Day AGAIN!!! New Photos Added

Harper and DJ, Adele's siblings are here. I just added new photos to the gallery and you can check out Spice's blog to see Cali playing with Harper. She's smitten with him.

We started our day out with a romp around the back. The crew got soaked. Yep, I have work to do cleaning up. Why bother? If I don't then knots arrive and I prefer to avoid that so a rinse (days like this shampoo too) and a brush and dry off is in the cards so they can do it again OF COURSE!

Check out some of the photos.

Looking forward to DJ and Harper visiting. Brewer arrived as a ball of enthusiasm. Keeper is now totally relaxed and playing up a storm with all. Oh the day has just begun.

Just took Bailey for a walk since his surgery, I had a jacket on him so mostly his legs, neck and chest got muddy. I brushed and combed him out for now as I need to run some errands, but when I return I am wondering if I should wash him. You said rinse, how do you rinse them? Just the dirty parts or all over?

If they are not in need of a bath yet then I just rinse the dirty parts but I also use shampoo on them if it doesn't just come out. I am finding the clay here are caking on their feet.

PS: many times if you allow to dry and then comb/brushout the dirt falls off.

Yep I just got home and he looks good as new! Yeah!

I agree that often if you allow to dry, the dirt falls off. It's a bonus when that happens!

Those are great pictures Darlah! What fun they had this morning. Some of them are just flying in the air :-)

Never saw a happier bunch of dogs getting dirty..lol. Love the shots where the dogs look like they are flying.

Darlah so many pix of 'flying' dogs. Love those photos.

Do you have a pix of the 6 month old pup that will be going to a new home ?

He's above in the photo to the left if you are looking at the screen. In yesterday's blog he's the top photo - the dog in the lead. In the 2nd photo he's standing next to Cali. In the 6th photo he's looking at Adele. In the 11th photo he's running while Jeannie is looking. In the 13th he's licking his lips and his name is on the photo. In the 16th its just him again. He has a true black coat with white.

Thanks Darlah,
He sure has striking colouring. His coat is very black & white.
Sure wish I could add another Hav to the family. I do not think that
Kona would be very accepting of another dog. He is very possessive
of his existing family.

Kathy: Not to worry Kathy - he will find the right home. He's trained. He has a wonderful personality and he has hair to die for. I really like him.
