Wow Snow Fun

There is no other way to put it but the dogs had a total blast. It didn't matter who it was. They all participated. No one wore jackets as they would be targets here - used as a strategic way to win. Here is the gallery from today.

It was a no win day at the show but boy we had fun at home.

Everyone departs tonight except Ringo who leaves tomorrow. I will guarantee they will sleep well tonight - me too!

Wow , these pups sure enjoy the chase through the snow. I wonder why their feet
don't get cold.
Was that Jeannie racing ahead of the guests for a moment ?
With all the flowing coats it is hard to identify each one. I recognized the guests
with flying ears in pursuit of Jeannie.

Fantastic photos, Darah. Snow Dogs indeed. I particularly love the flying ears and coats. What's it like when they all come tumbling back inside with excited, snowy bodies everywhere?

Thanks so much for taking Zoe for the last few days. The new door is in, the room is back in order, and yes Zoƫ immediately noticed the door, but with a few sniffs and confirmation that it opens out into the garden just like the old one did, she was back to the really important things in the house, like her toys and what was happening in the kitchen.

Donna: Zoe is so delightful and she had a blast as you can see. What is it like? Wet floor, cuddles in blankets on couches and brush outs. My feet get wet. I wear my grooming jacket more often then not as it is waterproof. I have to say I have really enjoyed this weekend. They had such grand enthusiasm.

Interesting about the door. They do notice changes. Funny how observant and smart they are!

Kathy: That was Zoe. Jeannie was at the show mostly. I think they get lost in the play but I still pay attention to paw up. They did get cold but we went in and out so many times today. I had to have towels to dry the floor over and over. I did a lot of laundry. I think they had an intoxicating weekend if you know what I mean.

Mabel was pooped ... still is actually lol
We didn't make it home last night. The road was closed up our way so we are heading home now and Mabel is sleeping like a baby.
The pictures are great!. It is so nice to see her having so much fun. Are you sure you don't want to move our way? :)
I don't know how you keep up with all the dogs going in and out all day!
Thank you again for having Mabel.

Jayne:

Safe travels. Glad you stayed overnight. What the dogs give you is worth even exhaustion. :-) It was a true pleasure to have the Mabel visiting! It was great to see the both of you too!

Casey had a blast - it is so much fun for her and very beneficial. Funny, she does not like city snow - the salt probably does not help! Thanks for giving her the great experience. She is looking forward to a week of it. The pictures are amazing. I can just imagine her charging around the snow with her sibs and friends. Thanks again.

Salt really does bother their feet. Think of salt getting caught between your toes as you walk. :-) Not sure why they feel the need to overly do it too but it is harmful to the dogs. They use sand here mostly. Not sure which is more irritating but has to be done to avoid slipping.
