What a Day

Sorry but its been a day. Got 2 dogs washed - last minute thing - didn't mind as I love seeing them but set me behind and our grand daughter was in emergency this morning and is back admitted. So, Nathan is off to get our other grand daughter to stay here and then off to the hospital and back here before dogs are picked up.

I am also busy getting bedding washed for a bed that I usually have up against ours for the dogs so our grand daughter has a bed. ROFL.

I've groomed, I conquered, I washed and well I am tired and very behind in blogs.

Everyone is having a ton of fun. Not a single dog isn't playing and enjoying themselves. That does my heart good.

Here are just a few photos that were snapped but I have no time to get them all up - sorry.

The last is Shady after his bath... lazing and staying clean so far. Will he make pickup clean or will he not?

I'm really happy Pepper got to play with Nora today. They are still two peas in a pod. They are so similar in appearance that I almost could have gone home with Nora and not noticed. Hahaha.....ALMOST :)

Alene: She has Crohns. She had her usual dosage of Remicade that is supposed to minimize her output and instead had profuse output from both ends on an average of every hour for 13 days. She lost a pound a day. Her specialist was on holidays - wouldn't see her before she went as she didn't think it was at the stage despite the daughter truly telling the receptionist it was required and was sent to her GP who said what am I supposed to do with this - go to emergency and she is back in the hospital on 2 different antibiotics - one is flagyl - the other one starts with an s. She is on bowel rest and we shall see where this goes. She is now back at the bleeding stage. I am actually quite miffed at the specialist as I assume if she saw her early on she may have curtailed a hospital visit but who knows. I am just very frustrated. A child this age should not be living like this. We are enjoying the company of our other grand daughter. We will be going back and forth visiting taking turns. Hope this one is short termed not like the last. I hope they find something that lasts longer than this solution did.

Alene, Shady is gorgeous - wonderful fun playing. He rather likes Scruffy so if you two get together it will be wonderful mix for all 4 of you truly!

Shady truly had Wasabi's face - pretty face. :-)

Oh the bloody arrogance of some of these specialists! Drives me crazy to hear such things like your granddaughters situation. I hear various stories of a similar nature time and time again at my workplace. The poor child has been through so much already. We hope and pray they find the right solution for her this time. I too know someone with Crohns who had a section of bowel removed after years on steroids and now for many years has had no problems.
So nice to see Shady-he really is a handsome boy!

Irma: Interesting. In her case they said they would have to remove so much that she would have to be on a bag.

Hope your granddaughter feels better soon.

thanks for giving me an update on your granddaughter, i wasn't sure what was wrong with her. how stressful for everyone, especially for a child. i hope they figure out what she needs to get better and hopefully she can get some relief and healthy periods ahead of her.
