Sweating Day
It's back to being warm but the pool is not warm yet. We have to put the heat back on as we are not into throwing $$ away.
Just a few photos today. We had a long and busy one. This is Huntsville Cooper. :-) He's been playing so hard with Cooper and Roxie and Simba it is unreal. He seems to be so delighted with his playmates. He's always loved Roxie but he's having a rip roaring time with Simba and Cooper. Simba goes tomorrow after a bath. They are moving so this was an impromptu visit to help them focus on moving vs. dogs, kids and everything else.
Dennis had it in his mind that we were going to take the plants out. I have a significant amount of plants I bring in. Some die, some survive. Some look dead but come to life eventually. It's cheaper than buying every year but its a lot of work. They look like ahem right now but they will come back - well I hope.
Well, we had to move the xpen as I have a 4 foot long by 2 foot high planter that sits behind my desk that had to go out. So down came the xpen, pups got shuffled for 2 hours as we washed floors, moved items, took out everything in the xpen and washed and the pups just took it in stride. Good pups.
Luckily Levon left already when we started this project and we just finished. Well, almost finished. I have a bookshelf to organize and throw things out that I don't want. You see I had no access to it all winter as it was blocked off so I imagine not much is useful except exercise tapes and now I have no excuse not to start exercising tomorrow. :-)
Levon got to play hard and enjoy his time vs. laying all over Nathan or going outside with Nathan while Dennis, Jonathan and I did all this crazy work. I was NOT supposed to be in the equation but I get roped in every time and they would have still been doing it if I didn't help.
Still, Nathan ran around with the dogs out back, took walks with them and then took a nap. :-)
Dogs do not like big moves and changes. They just don't but they took all this craziness of plants coming down the stairs, out the door and leaves all over in stride. Not me. I just kept looking at all the work and I had groomed all morning before this.
If anyone knows where to get cheap hanging baskets, please let me know. I need two. Anywhere off the 401 from Toronto to Ottawa will do. Nathan has a family event in Ottawa on his birthday (June 1st) so maybe he can stop and buy me two hanging baskets. hahahaha
Well, I can dream but they are usually cheaper away from Toronto. I need two that can deal with sun to hang off my lamps.
The dogs are still out with Nathan out back as it is a perfectly delightful weather night. I am playing blog catch up.
Hugo has decided that Nathan is his guy and he wants to keep everyone away from him. Hugo is learning that doesn't work here. Everyone gets time for loving, snuggling and the likes and sharing really is a good thing despite what you thought yourself as a kid with your own sibling. Repeat after me - it is a good thing.
Nathan was practicing sits and downs with the crew all at once. I walked by him at one timeframe and laughed. Some listened, some did not and some did the wrong thing. Milo just looked at him as if he was crazy. I don't blame him. He instead chose to lay on the cushions and relax and watch this period of craziness.
Yes, that is a bit of what we do all day long as we stimulate, laugh, play, teach and snuggle and love. Then we fall dead asleep. You should try it sometime.
Now Kat is hanging out at the pool saying it's HOT - can we swim? Kat - maybe tomorrow. Not sure anyone has the energy tonight.

Glad the weather cooperated today. This is a great picture of Kat. He looks so regal! See you tomorrow for the Coop pick up around 1:30 or a bit earlier.
Anne: I will try to keep him freshly groomed for that time. ROFL
