Missing the Trio

We are already missing Steven and My's trio. Here are a few photos after their bath today.

The Ray Ray Boy!

Mac - he was the easiest to get to pose - the other two were so excited it was funny trying to capture them.

Monty doing a dance with Nathan. He is such a character!

Dusty was also here for a bath. Simone got to help socialize the pups.

Be sure to check out the video on Fiona's blog where Griffin conquers the fish.

It suddenly got really quiet here. Jeannie starts Tricks class tonight. Not sure who else is in the class but it is bound to be fun.

I am already too tired for it. ROFL

Everyone is knot free and taking a nap with Nathan in bed. Can you believe? Only Abigail is downstairs with me.

Haven't taken a photo of Pepper or Scruffy as I was too busy washing, grooming and playing with pups. Still, they are their usual sociable selves playing their hearts out so much so that they are catching zzzs with Nathan. I believe I got Pepper playing with the pups earlier but none of Scruffy. I will make sure tomorrow I do better.

I tell you Nathan and the dawgs have the life. heh

Mac's eyes always glow when he's looking for a treat! Thanks to you and Nathan for taking such great care of them. They are so pooped right now from all the play.

Steven/My: I just adore having your 3. I am glad that they are napping as you probably need to play recovery too. That's the nice part of them playing like crazy - they give you that break before normalcy returns. :-)

Thank you for all that you do and the presents. I like the Havanese tea towel so much I want to frame it. :-) Forget about using it!

Looks like the rain is returning and returning and returning. :-(

You are so funny about the glowing eyes but believe me some of the other choices were interesting - not from glowing eyes but he wouldn't sit still. Up, down JUST GIVE ME THE TREAT! Ray and Monty were even more excited!

This trio is so sweet.

I just love the coloring on all your dogs. The hair cuts really show them off. Steve what length of comb do you use on the clippers for their legs and body? Last summer I used the same size for every where and was not please with the result. Your dogs look great and I am encouraged to try again.

Marilyne: Lately we've been using 1&1/4" for the body and 3/4" for the dense part of neck (downward direction only - the goal is only to thin, not to trim), butt and belly.

For the legs, face and "finishing", that is all manual scissor work. The length is "eyeballed" as opposed to measured.
