What a Day
Crazy day and hardly any photos that didn't have the pups in it. I did get one of Gracie who is literally having the time of her life:
I did get photos of Woofstock but I have to sift through those. I had my iphone stolen so unfortunately I am dealing with that changing passwords and all that fun that comes with it. It was wonderful to see the dogs that we did. We missed Kobe, it seems. Never saw Molly. We missed others, I am told. I never got to see Kim as I think my mind was on my iphone. Then Nathan topped it up with well it is YOUR responsibility to make sure no one steals anything from you in a crowd. Is that an insult to injury statement or what? I had my phone in the side slot of my purse as I was trying to connect with Bailey's mom. Luckily she found us anyway. So, photos of Woofstock will have to wait. Photos of the other dogs will have to wait except check out Abigail's blog as I will be uploading Raylan and the pups. Mac thought they were Martians and well Monty was highly curious but not enough to play but only to sniff them all up. Raylan played and played.
Cha Cha who has since gone home was in-between Raylan and Monty with the pups if you know what I mean.
We got to visit with Stella and Val and she was such a gracious host. It was GREAT fun to see the dogs together. I think someone was hugging Roxie and Roxie was loving it! Woofstock was fun despite the issues of crowds and the phone and I will go through the photos.
I hear tell we will see Darcy, Scruffy and Pepper tomorrow. Pepper and Darcy are littermates. I do have a photo of one of their other littermates from Woofstock but as I said I think I am emotionally spent. I worked really hard to get to be able to get everything setup so I could go for a morning and someone said - silly woman... Oh well enough whining!
We did get a ton of treats and we brought home Maxine for a play session and she will be departing first thing in the morning. Not enough time for me.

Sorry to hear about your iPhone! Did you have "find my iPhone" set up?
Friends of friends who have gotten their phones back with threats of calling the police using that feature to send messages to the phone.
In the worst case, you can also do a remote wipe of the phone so that nobody can access your data.
Hi Darlah, so sorry to hear about your phone. Apple has a built in tracker if you turned the option on when you purchased it. The person who took it will have bad charma back, don't you worry! It was wonderful to see you all this morning. I found the 'belly' treat stand and bought five packs! Did you see the dog tents? So cool. See you next Sunday!
PS - that was me hugging Roxie this morning when we met by the fountain. I could have hugged her all day. She is such a sweetie...
Katherine: I knew who you were. I was teasing! It was my attempt at a joke. I loved that you hugged the Roxie! You are going to ADORE seeing this crew. Oh my gad are they delicious!
Steven: Katherine: Yes, the phone is cancelled. The data will be wiped if the person goes on the net. I have changed all my passwords - argh. I have an ipad tied to it so its not been fun. Valerie was so nice to go ask if anyone turned in an iphone seeing the phone was useless now but I am told they can still sell it. Who the hey would want an iphone 4? Well, me. I have 4 months left on this contract! Now I am not sure how to proceed - phoneless with a 4 month contract left.
I am not sure if I saw the teepees - you mean the 100 plus ones? If so I took their card but a tad too rich for me. I got one similar but cheaper material from Petsmart years ago. It finally has bit the dust. I do need a new one. But not for that much money. Let's see this month the phone is lost, the camera died, the mower died and we have to cut the cedars as the neighbors are complaining so I have to start sewing instead of sleeping. hahahaha I do hang blankets over the corners of the xpen and create a tent like atmosphere for the pups. They love it! You will see when you are here. I think I missed a whole lot at this show. It got too busy and after the phone fiasco everything else went south. I will tell you though that the dogs have a ton of treats. We got a $4.50 glass of lemonade. I say if you are going again bring your own lemonade. :-)
Steven: Are you on a feed or did you get to see the Ray Ray boy with the pups? It's on the Abigail blog. They were chasing him all over the place and he was loving it! Mac says - are you JOKING! Monty was highly curious but went oh my the gremlins are after me! They now chase the older dogs all in fun.
hi darlah, jeaannie and roxy are sooo sweet. stella is tired tonight, we made another trip through woofstock later in the afternooon. i carried her part of the time due to the crowd. . found collars i like but will go later tomorrow when they are most likely on sale. hope others found the dog leash wall hangers, i noticed the havanese ones seemed to be gone. they were close to winners if anyone is interested tomorrow.
I never even saw Winners :-( Never saw anything after the phone for the most part. Well, there is next year without a phone. Glad Stella is tired. Roxie and Jeannie and Maxine (Maxine we took her for the night) all fell fast asleep when they arrived home but now they are raring to go. It was short lived here. Have fun tomorrow. Wish I lived close like you. :-) Enjoy the day!
Darlah, I am coming in via RSS but I caught the pics of Raylan. I especially love the one where Adele is chasing him. She looks so happy!
Nathan is outside with them tonight. He just tried Raylan and they chase him and he loves it. He then put Monty in and he sniffed them up again but no play yet but he seems like he may before you come. Mac stood like a statue tonight while they surrounded him. They kept trying to give him kisses and he wasn't so sure. But tomorrow is a new day. We shall see. I say good for the pups and good for them. They are having a great time - all 3. Everyone is relaxed and playing. Mac only does the statue thing with the pups when they try to chase or surround him. May try him tomorrow with just 1 pup. 1 seems to make a difference with some. Will let you know.
So sorry about your phone event. I'm afraid we didn't get down today but are going early Sunday a.m. Missed seeing you all.
Susan: I had to laugh as you asked and asked if we were going then I didn't see you and then I started worrying something happened. Glad not. Hope you enjoy the day and see more of the show I did. Maybe you will see Jane there.
Darlah: sorry about your phone again, but I am really glad we were still able to meet up. I couldn't believe the difference in Bailey from just walking with me in my arms shaking like a leaf, to when we found you guys, and I could put him down and he was oblivious to everything else. It was a great experience for both of us. It was my first time there. I know I didn't see as much as there was to see before it got crazy busy, but I think this will be a yearly event for us. Told my kids all about my adventure with Bailey and how they missed out. Teens, no matter what you offer them when it comes to getting up early they seem to always pass. My poor hubby is always working Saturday's, so he never gets to enjoy either, and Sundays are always catch up with the grass and garden days. Oh well, glad Bailey and I got to experience it!
It is a great experience for all the dogs. Both Jeannie and Roxie didn't like the trucks on the side streets going over grates and being too close. They are not used to it as our surrounding areas rarely have trucks on them. It also was way too many people by the time we left but the dogs DO loosen up when they see familiar surroundings. Jeannie and Roxie was wonderful even when it was too crowded. So to make it a yearly event is a 'good' one. It was wonderful to see everyone and you are right - you are doing wonderful things with Bailey as he was enjoying the moments! Tuffie was amazing too. They will have a good memory of it!
